What’s your favorite slop and why is it sloppy joe
>>21967421it would seem there are no alternatives at present but I foresee a sloppy renaissance in my lifetime
>>21967421I gave your momma a sloppy joe, and she loved it.she later came with all her friends and they all enjoyed a sloppy joe combo for a very good price, only at Joe's, open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
>>21967421my favorite joe is mama
>>21967421sloppy joseph good
>>21967421I make sloppy joe filling but then I put it on top of open faced garlic bread then add mozerella on top and bake it. That is the best sloppy joe.
>>21967421>makes white boys go crazy
>>21967667that's an italian joe
>>21967739I refuse to call it that.
>>21967739Sloppy Gio
>>21967470That's fucking brilliant. Did you come up with it yourself? You're going far.
reminder that this is a burger according to third worlders
>>21967915its a deconstructed hamburger. bobs burgers wouldnt approve of it but the customer will.
>>21967421for me it's the tidy joe
Pasta sauce is a slop I guess. I make that plenty.
>>21968238Same. I order them neat and tidy so I get to make a messy myself. Not letting the chef rob me of my fun.
>>21967667Garlic bread is probably good. The Hamburger buns have to be toasted and I agree with Open Face. Also parmesan cheese elevates it. I didn't eat Sloppy Joes for years, though they were a regular thing as a kid, then recently I've been eating them a few times a month. I get the Manwich. When I made them I was surprised how much vinegar is in there. I didn't remember that, but it must have always been there. It's got to cook off or it would be too much, but it does. and they are great.
>>21969121I guess the vinegar is so they can fill the can with liquid. Kind of a waste of vinegar. If they used water by the time the water was gone too much vinegar would have evaporated. I remember liking the sloppy joe mix powder but I haven't seen that recently.
>>21969124If they used citric acid they could use water and it would evaporate leaving the citric acid. Citric acid doesn't evaporate. But it may taste different than vinegar which is what people are expecting. As a rule citric acid > vinegar for cooking but this is americana slop and that was vinegar. Lemons? What the fuck are they? Would Popeye the Sailor have lemons in his cupboard? No way. And any spinach was canned. Tomatoes were made of Ketchup
I’ve been eating a lot of chicken cheese schnitzels with jalapeño+mayo+MSG. Use lettuce as burger buns. Off screen is a tall glass of temperate purified water
>>21967421I used to know an older Korean gentleman in my neighborhood called "slopey Joe." (It had a lot of vets from way back. I don't condone the name). He was very neat in his day-to-day and took great care of his property.Just made me think about it because of the spelling. Don't let me derail the thread over it. I tend to prefer some open face sandwiches with gravy. Funny enough though, Joe loved a Salisbury steak--So he kind of was a "sloppy Joe," (He served it with rice).God, I miss that guy. He was always very friendly.
>>21969244I miss him too anon. I miss him like a fox
