There can be only one.Which do you prefer?
A strong competitor has entered the ring.
A Chinese housemate once warned me to never eat anything manufactured in China. So I don't. Probably never will.
>>21968704That doesn't look like it would be a chili oil.
>>21968698Lao has a nice crispness but not as much flavour as the Lee. Lee also has a very spicy punch so I’ll go with that.
>>21968707they have cleaner food standards than USA
>>21968747Mmmm...packaged gutter oil!
>>21968698both use soybean oil so it's iffy but left is better>>21968704that is not even remotely close to the OP shart
>>21968698I got the shit on the left and used it one for rice once but i never have rice. Idk what else to use it for so i threw it out. Kept it around for like a year.
>>21968814kinda based ngl
>>21968862How? I just threw out food i wasn't using
>>21968775They sanitize the gutter oil before using it. Learn about environmentalism, which China is at the forefront of, retard.
>>21968698I'm going with what's behind door number 3. It's not that much work even me as a cooklet was able to do it and it's so much fucking better it's unreal. I can never go back to the jarred stuff after making it for myself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wgZ7s3YxWI
>>21968814That's weird, so what do you want? Just potato and pasta over and over again?
I've dunne a shootout and Ree Kum Kee is the clear winner for me. I do enjoy some of the richness of the Lograndma but frankly it's pretty flavourless while LKK is a flavour explosion
>>21968747Obsessed
>>21968775America is the main consumer of Chinese gutter oil now.
>>21969310now with 110% gutterölle tarrifs
>>21968698Lao Gan Ma was my gateway drug, but I've found Lee Kum Kee has a much richer, smoky flavor I much prefer.
>>21969399It's all true.My assessment:1. Spicy but pretty bland2. Mildly spicy, but salty and with a wonderful garlic bed3. Literal sewerage. Tastes like a septic tank smells 0/10(in reference to >>21969280)
>>21968707Sound and sane advice. Find a Japanese brand of chili oil.
>>21969456>Find a Japanese brand
This is the best one I've had but I'm not paying $10 per jar.
>>21971088I'm the >>21969280 guy and I've also bought both pic relateds. I haven't had a chance to try Fly By Jing yet but anons have recommended it to me. The two brands in my pic are also really good, but I've never found them particularly memorable, They're better than Loganma but actually not as good as Lee Kum Kee, for me. If I can find FBJ I'll definitely try it
>>21971105I bought it at Walmart, should be pretty easy for you to find. Expensive.
>>21968698Chiu Chow, no fucking comparison. I have 3 jars at all times. When I have two it's time to buy the backup. It goes on near everything.
>>21968704That's a base for other things. Like cocktail sauce. Still better than plain ketchup though as a condiment. Fuck American sweet tomato ketchup. Disgusting.
>>21968698Unfree HK numba wan!>>21969457true
