depends on what your mum likes innit

I'd say stick to things that are mid-priced, the average mum isn't going to appreciate something really nice anyway

I only use vivino to keep track of what I've drunk and enjoyed.
>>
>>21975543
Vivino is for normalfags and boomers
Cellartracker is for obnoxious rich boomers, but i find their UI is better for keeping track of bottles on hand and tasting notes. Also still very Web 1.0 in design.
Raisin is also good for agrotourism, but caters more to natural wine.
>>
>>21975543
cellartracker is the best, it probably has the highest ratio of industry people and serious collectors as far as the big apps go. although, as >>21975707 mentioned, the community definitely has a boomer leaning palate. even the winemakers are on cellartracker, they'll comment and reply to tasting notes on their bottles. delectable gets an honorable mention too, that app is underrated, lots of somms use it.

Thanks will try if I ever see it.

Mediocrity.

What did she mean by this?

bought a second-hand proper decanter yesterday, similar to picrel but with a
looks kinda science-y, swiveling liquoids around feels oddly pleasant

had to give it a test, of course
the wine in question: viña maipo cabernet sauv-etc
swivel swivel swivel, very satisfying
the wine ended up tasting sweeter
never again will i mock those who insist on aerating wine

after many many glasses, i gave the decanter a good rinse and put it away somewhere clever, so that my cat wouldn't destroy it
when i woke up today, i found the decanter in many many pieces (on of them lodged in my toe), and the cat waiting to be let back indoors
so either i've put it somewhere not clever at all - or there are ghosts

the cohol got me acting unwise

>similar to picrel but with a
*with a more solid spout
>>
>>21976635
You can just get one of those milk frother things and do it in the glass but it's less classy and wine is nothing if it's not classy

Also that is some very strange looking cabernet sauvignon

Recommend me some good cidre i can easily get in Germany as spring is on its rise. I'm sick of the 1.49€ stuff. Markets just sell adulterated Britslop nowadays.
>>
>>21976680
Julien Fremont, especially the Cidre Nature Brut Dry. Just the right amount of residual sugar.

Are the same species too.

>>21976830
If jews were a wine what would they be?
