In the age of microplastics do you still use them?

Does it lock in freshness like Kramer says?

switched pyrex/glass ones but i stacked them in each other in a drawer and opening/closing the draw they'd hit each other so now the rims all chipped within a year. recently brought some stainless steel ones

Fuck yeah I use them all the time. They don’t just flake apart and get everywhere. That happens from oceans and landfills and irresponsible waste management. The products themselves do not contribute to microplastics during their life with you.
I can’t believe people think that’s how it works.

>enjoy smoking plastic, bro.
I’m already smoking paper and tobacco (albeit fine tobacco), I wouldn’t care. There’s likely microplastics in there somehow anyway. Not from the Tupperware.

I put my meals straight out of the oven in plastic bags. When the plastic melts a little, that means it's working.

We all just breathe microplastics 24 hours a day anyway. Just embrace it. Reuse them as many times as you can.

Switced to Pyrex years ago.

We recently switched to metal but the lids are still flexible, rubberised plastic and still "burp" and we still use our plastic containers (quart+ sized yogurt pots and buckets of cream cheese; I posted https://warosu.org/ck/thread/21827966/#21832918 a few months ago), too.

yes and i microwave food in them too.
>>

No I just get plastic takeout containers and deli cups from the restaurant supply. I hate cleaning plastic shit so I use them once and then toss them.

I kneel

I will never understand how anyone found Seinfeld funny, but then again, I used to watch fucking Frasier so what do I know?
>>
>>21973986
I use them for storage yeah, but I don't reheat things in them. I mean, I don't use the microwave to reheat anyway, and you can't exactly stick a plastic tupperware in the toaster oven. but yeah
>>
>>21975057
yeah I look at american shows and like 70% of them are about rich jews being assholes to people which is supposed to be funny.
>>
isn't it strange how the people who told us microplastics are bad, also told us seed oils are good and carbs are good and meat is bad for you
