>sign up and use Uber Eats once because I had a promotion>keep getting emails for other "promotions">"save 30% if you spend $40 at a convenience store order">"save 40% if you spend $60 at 7-11"Who the fuck would spend $60 at 7-11 how are these fucking deals? The minimum required to spend to get a discount is insane.
>>219745303 12 packs.
>>21974530They're for alcoholics with poor impulse control buying handles of vodka and five chip packets.
>>21974530If you're ordering with your friends, it takes very little to get to 60$.Except with Chinese food I guess. That's very cheap
>>21974693>60$
>>21974699Sorry I meant 60€
>>21974530>Please bend over and let us fuck you-ubereats
>>21974530I live on top of a supermarket, i get those uber deal too. I just order and then get then go down stairs to get my gorceries. Sometime i go to the supermarket to be sure they really have the stuff i want because i don t want substitution. I stock expensive fish cans and prime olive oil for cheap.
>>21974693These aren't for restaurants its convenience stores and 7-11. Every delivery app is pushing you to use it to buy overprice convenience slop now
>>21974712None of those deals offer pick up it's always delivery
>>21974530>convenience store orderI was unaware that Ubereats/Grubhub/etc did convenience store deliveries until the zoomer I work with (who gets food delivered EVERY DAY) got some pizza and pop.I've never used any of these delivery services, as I refuse to pay out the ass for something I could easily pick up myself (the zoomer kid doesn't have a car and probably never will, pissing away money on food delivery like that) not to mention the business model for these delivery services is predicated on fucking over the delivery drivers until they quit in a rage, then hiring another sucker (until they're all replaced by robots).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdVCzpo9p4s&t=4s
I use it for pick up orders. There are a lot of places nearby that run good, stacking promotions, and there aren't many/any fees if you're picking your own slop up. Obviously your mileage may vary, but I was sucking down BOGO $6 Biggie bags from Wendy's for a few weeks there, and thankfully I survived, but it was a relatively decent amount of 'food' for $6. Obviously, you do not need to pay for their monthly premium plan
>>21974712>>21975074Are you on the app both ordering and picking your order? If so is it easy to be offered your own order as the picker?
>>21974530People who really REALLY love mashed potatoes.
>>21974712>boy I sure do love the hustle and bustle...
>>21974717restaurants are probably getting tired of this shit. uber should stick with gas stations. it's a more appropriate place to send their rude african drivers anyway.
I have a zoomette neighbor (renter) who has never once bought groceries since she moved in a couple of years ago. Every day I see uber eats dropping off food on my doorbell cameraI assume she's absolutely fucking loaded because she also doesn't seem to work, but if she has that kind of money why doesn't she just buy a unit instead of paying rent to some old retired lady in florida
>>21975621How long has she been your neighbor? Young women like that tend to move from city to city for their first decade after college.
>>21974693I got a monthly $25 promotion credit for it with my AMEX card and I use it every month at my local Chinese takeout place. The guy working there was super confused why I would order takeout for myself on Uber Eats when the price on the app is higher.
