It's crazy no one's been able to make a gluten free bread that doesn't have the consistency of a dish sponge. Like, surely with a bunch of chemicals and shit you can get closer than this.
anti gluten tards need to stop trying to eat pretend bread, simple as.just like how vegans need to stop trying to eat pretend animal products.
>>21976685I just eat rice and corn tortillas.
>>21976685It’s really interesting how hard it is to replicate what gluten does, I wonder if we’ll sooner have a fix for gluten intolerance than a near identically functioning gluten substitute
>>21976685>>21977138Whats gluten free bread made of
>>21977139Some kind of starch plus egg or gums to act like gluten
>>21976690Vegans do it because they're retardedGluten-free people do it because they don't like having violent diarrhea, or in the worst case scenario, they like not being deadNot the same thing
>>21976685I went gluten free for like month just to see if it would do anything (it didn't). I didn't mind the bread too much desu. I do wonder if using gluten free flour + baking soda would make for a nicer texture. >>21976690I'm not a city dweller and I don't hang around faggy oversocialized types, but I ran in to this one guy who claimed to be have a gluten intolerance recently. One of the weirdest guys I have ever met, what Americans would call a trust fund baby I guess. His chiropractor told him he probably had a gluten allergy so he just went with it lol I asked him how he got tested and he said there isn't any blood test so I was like why don't you just get actual pure gluten from a Chinese supermarket or something, ingest it and see if it affects you. I think he likes not having gluten be a part of his personality or something.
>>21976690>muh textureChronic inflammation driver, double-AIDS combined with glyphosphate catttle feed, negative notional value.
>>21977825> There's isn't any blood testHe's definitely full of shit. The only thing that DOESN'T have a blood test is gluten "intolerance" but celiacs and an allergy can be tested. I love seeing a chiropractor but some of them are insufferable cunts like that. They attract those clients too lol
>>21976685They all suck but they can make decent French toast. That was the only way I had bread when I was struggling with food reactions. Hot sandwiches using a lot of butter were okay as well, just have to load it up with condiments and cheese> But the slices are tinyI know, IDK why the fuck that is, it's infuriating!
>>21977158My wife makes gluten free bread out of any non-wheat flour>>21977139 + boiling water but they're flatbreads.
>>2197782099% of anti gluten fags are just doing it as a fad because their favorite tiktoker told them gluten is the cause of all of their problems in life. Almost everyone is faking whatever thing they pretend they can't eat. Do you really think 50% of the population suddenly came down with all these food illnesses and allergies in the last 10 years spontaneously? Disabilities are now an accessory that get you points on social media. The more the better.
>>21977961Lo and behold the next post after yours the exact thing I was talking about. > I think he likes not having gluten be a part of his personality or something
>>21977961I am the anon that posted about meeting the eccentric guy who convinced himself he has a gluten intolerance/allergyFood allergies are a real thing though anon, I used to eat Nutella pretty much every single day growing up and then in my late teenage years suddenly got a really bad hazelnut allergy. It's not life threatening like a peanut allergy but having any gives me the worst headache and pretty much ruins the rest of my day. >Disabilities are now an accessory that get you points on social media. The more the better. This I very much agree with.
>>21977820What does veganism have to do with gluten?Either way, some of my family has coeliac and it's made me very much agree with you. Not the same as the fags who think gluten is carcinogenic or some shit.
>>21977961Food allergies and intolerances aren't that uncommon. Yeah some people pretend to be allergic for attention but we didn't even understand the extent of lactose intolerance until like 50 years ago and how most people can't have it. Up to 10% of people in some populations can't even digest starch at all and it's still considered underdiagnosed.
>>21976685Gluten-free baked goods usually give me the runs for some reason.
>>21978210Probably the high amount of gums/fiber they use to try and mimic how gluten works.
