I like fry sauce, but I also toss in either Frank's Red Hot or some chili pepper flakes to give it a bit of heat.

What dipping sauces do you anons like?
>>
>>21979393
only salt
>>
>>21979394
Oh I bet that's tasty, what you like to dip in it? and cute dog anon, my grandma has one that looks just like yours!
>>
>>21979395
Nice choice anon! Do you use classic table salt or maybe some pink Himalayan? Make sure you get something good to drink with it!
>>
>>21979401
ty
idk, normal salt, the white one
for drinking I also put a pinch of salt on my water

All I really ever need is Ketchup.

Smart thinking anon! Helps to keep you hydrated!

>>21979406
>I thought this was a FRIES dippin' Soce thread
Anything dip and goes, but yeah since there's fries in my OP post I guess spuds would take priority lol Tell your friend's dog I say hi! I love dogs <3

>>21979410
Nice choice, an all time classic! Do you have a preferred brand anon?

>>21979424
will do!
>>
I poured vinegar on my fries once, it tasted pretty good. Like salt and vinegar chips.
>>
animal sauce which is basically mayo+ketchup+relish
>>
>>21979424
Shut the FUCK up
>>
>>21979447
Oddly enough that's the one flavor I can't over indulge in. I think because it makes me salivate so much as a result from the dehydration brought on by the salt and vinegar that I can only have a handful of s&v chips in one sitting. If it weren't for that limitation I'd probably eat it all the time!

>>21979452
Oh man animal sauce is really good, I usually get that with my In-N-Out fries. Great choice anon!

I really like Raising Cane's sauce. I know the rest of their food is underseasoned but that sauce tho!
>>
>>21979567
Cane's sauce is GOATed for sure! You've great taste in sauces anon!

is that sal'spree steak or just standard patties? either is fine by man I am craven me some salisbury steak now
>>
Ketchup, mayo and pureed chipotle. My go to sauce.
>>
Fry crushed red chili in olive oil then throw in paprika and black pepper to bloom. Mix this with mayonnaise and lemon juice. Optionally fry garlic in the olive oil as well.
>>
>>21979637
smoke pap or just regular ol' sweet pap? also I guess you have to let it cool of course but that sounds really good

>>21979636
can't wrong with that I guess
>>
>>21979645
I use Walmart paprika but I'm sure good paprika would be better. I got it from bon appetit like 10 years ago. They called it Marlboro Man sauce and I've never been able to find the original recipe again and it basically only exists in my mind now. The one I make isn't even the original but the general guidelines are enough. Just bloom paprika and whatever else you want in some olive oil and mix into mayonnaise. The most important part is blooming the paprika until its dark (in my opinion) because you get this smokey and slightly bitter flavor that is very unique.
>>
>>21979658
sounds nice, I might try it. also wonky unreliable Guger AI seems to have found some references to this sauce, but this must not be the same as the original you saw

Fry sauce (mayo+ketchup+paprika) is the best for fries. Salt and vinegar is best for chips, which are thicker than fries.

>>21979393
2 parts mayonnaise
1 part ketchup
A few generous glugs of Worcestershire sauce
A pinch of MSG
A pinch of Garlic Powder
Lots of black pepper
Mix extremely well. I recommend that you make it in a clear container so you can look around and mix out all of the globs of mayonnaise out of the sauce. Even if you think you've mixed well, mix a lot more to be sure.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: Let it sit in the fridge for AT LEAST 16 hours. The reason so many people end up disappointed with these sauces is because they don't give it time for the flavors to come together.

It's basically fry sauce with a couple other things but it's my favorite sauce by far.

>Raising Cane's sauce
This is >>21980234 literally the recipe for it. The most important part is to let the sauce sit for at least 16 hours in the fridge or it won't taste right. Cane's does the same thing with their sauce.
>>
>>21980236
Urgh
>>
Mayo and hot sauce makes a better dip than mayo and ketchup. Ketchup is truly worthless.

Can you store it in the refrigerator for more than 16 hours? I'm curious about how that sauce tastes when it's placed on toasted burger buns but I don't want to immediately eat one today
>>
>>21979636
Ah, a Fry sauce with some heat! An anon after my own heart!

>>21979637
Oh I bet that lemon juice really helps brighten up the flavor! Frying garlic in the olive oil is a brilliant touch!

>>21979658
Do you use regular paprika or smoked paprika? Either way, blooming it in some oil like that is brilliant!

>>21979661
I don't think AI will ever be able to accurately depict recipes for food given how they can't taste anything. One can only hope they can parrot the right recipe

>>21979829
Classic salsa, can't beat it! Do you prefer chunky or smooth?

>>21980058
I can't say I've ever heard about Layne's Signature! Is it a regional chain? And if so what region?

>>21980070
Personally I prefer futa semen, thick and creamy

>>21980091
You think the salt and vinegar plays better with a thicker medium? Makes sense, good take anon!

>>21980220
Out of every single chain, Arby's is the one where I cannot get down with any of their sauces. Which is a shame, I really want to like their horsey sauce! But something about their ratios I just can't get down with

Screenshotted, thanks for that anon! I'll try making it in the next couple of days here! And thanks for the big Goth booba too!

>>21980271
Mayo and hot sauce is a good combination, but I think it would depend on the hot sauce. What kind do you use usually use? Also sorry to hear you have AIDS

>>21980386
>Curry
What do you like about it anon? Curry is one thing I simply cannot do, but I'm curious to hear why others like it!

>>21980412
I would imagine that it would last in the fridge for a good long while, it's just that it's recommended to let it sit for 16 hours so the flavors can mingle. I figure that the longer it sits, the more the flavors would enhance!

Remoulade for fries.
>>
>>21979395
That's usually how I have it too.

>>21979393
Sometimes I just take mayo and mix it with whatever spices I feel like. Mayo is a good base for that.
>>
>>21980920
I'm not particularly fond of using AI but in this case I think it's fitting. The filename is just for you anon
>>
>>21980934
I can't say I've ever had remoulade, and after looking up the ingredients, it sounds delightful! I'll have to give it a try sometime!

>>21980952
Mayo does seem to be 'the glue that holds us together' across so many sauce lovers! I wonder how some of the sauces mentioned ITT would taste if I tried homemade mayo versus a jar of Helmann's...

Depends on what im dippan. I don't dip fries thoughever, I prefer them unsauced. Lately i try and make all my sauces just bc i like knowing whats in my food. I have a good parmesan garlic sauce that i make and I also am in the tweaking process of what i call BBC sauce (beer, bacon, and cheese). After i finish that i wanna try making a pb&j sauce- i went to a place that did pb&j wings once and i wanna see if i can do it better than them.
