>>21980130No thanks, I'm not paying for that kek
>>21980126>iykyknasty way of speaking
>>21980126>handmade downtown LAi will not buy c*lifornian products
>>21980126>Buying westoid jerkeyKek
>490g of sodium per serving
>>21980130That would buy you almost 4 pounds.
>>21980126The last time I got that, it was covered in mold on arrival.
>>21981868Sounds like you have shit-tier skills at picking up non-moldy jerky faggot.
>>21980152I buy California rice and olive oil but that's it
>>21981918I understand getting California rice because of arsenic and other ground pollutant concerns but Cali olive oil is retarded. Spain, Portugal, and Greece all have much better olive oil that isn't adulterated like Italian mafia olive oil.
>>21981927I refuse to buy olive oil that came from outside the US for exactly that reason. If you can provide me evidence that oil from those countries isn't adulterated then I would switch my habits.
>>21981931The evidence is on the tongue, my man. Unadulterated olive oil tastes like olive oil. Adulterated olive oil has a terrible off taste and does not taste like olive oil. You can easily find reputable brands from Spain, Portugal, and Greece by doing a little research.
>>21981868I used to work there. You can call them up and they'll send a new bag right away. It's because the bag wasn't properly sealed.
>>21980126Jerky is my all around favorite snack. Wish it weren't so darn expensive because I truly love the stuff. There's this stuff spammed in advertisements on IG called Carnivore Snax. That stuff is like $40 per bag and the bag is only 5oz. I dunno where they get the balls for that but the cuts are super fatty. If you know anything about jerky, you know you're not supposes to use fatty cuts as it defeats the purpose of preserving meat by making it super spoil-prone. You also know though that the fatty pieces are the tastiest ones. Very tempting but $40 for 5oz??? Nah get out of here.
>>21981952Imagine being this poor.
>>21981868It's not mold it's little globules of fat that seep out of the meat.
>>21982030If you buy beef jerky often enough you'll eventually come across a bag that's full of mold. I'm not sure what causes it, maybe a hole in the bag or excess moisture trapped inside.
>>21982080I've seen mold, but People's Choice has some high fat content or something that presents like white mold so I'm assuming that's what you/he saw. Mold grows uncontrollably where the white blobs never get bigger. If it really was mold then obviously that's an outlier and anon is correct, they will send you another bag for free without hesitation. They'll do it if you even say it tastes bad.
>>21981973>Imagine.>>21982080>>21982085I never understood confusing the little globs of fat with full on mold
I prefer my jerky in thin, leathery slabs. Ends up being not so easy-to-eat like regular jerky is so I can see why it's not quite popular.
