Is it weird to find the store brand oats a bit better than Quaker?
Cooked the same way, same amount of dryness / thickness after cooking and I notice Quaker is a lot chewier
Much to think about

I always liked instant pasty oatmeal more. Store brand is probably broken down more.

The only advantage to buying the brand name Quaker is the cardboard tube container is solid cardboard. Most private labels use one made of cheaper paper.
