I wanted to share this somewhere. I know it's a poor excuse for plating, but it was nice to try
>>21984117Nice, how is the taste? Also are those celery leaves?
>>21984118I've made better, but this isn't bad. Only simmered for an hour. Yeah, they are. I don't like getting vegetables just for garnish because they always seem to go bad before I use all of them
>>21984121Yeah buying garnishes kind of sucks. Buy too much and you waste some, don't buy enough and by the end your dish feels lacking. If I garnish chili I just do diced white onion and cheddar, but usually I don't even bother with that
>>21984117Looks good, I like how thick it is. What's the base?
>>21984117>celery in chilievery organelle in every cell in my body is enflamed against this
>>21984176I know, but you do need to grow up. You pick and choose what you want in a variety of recipes, as we both know. Therefore no recipe is sacred so stop acting like it is
>>21984186chill
>>21984190*chilli
>>21984152Fairly thick. Thick enough to require a spoon, can't just tilt the bowl into my mouth. It leaves a coat on the back of the spoon if that means anything. Its 1lb brown ground turkey(beef is too pricey right now, especially in what will essentially be coated in spiced tomato sauce), 1 yellow onion, 1 celery heart, 2 red bell peppers(i prefer green for color contrast, but they ran out), 4 cloves of garlic, and i think like 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp onion powder, .25tsp cumin, 1tsp smoked paprika, and more black pepper than I can recall. Also my skin now smells of chili spices the morning after. I like it, but I have a feelinf my coworkers might be unnerved by my seasoned meat smell
>>21984117Keep posting OC, ladLooks good
>>21984117Thanks for sharing it, looks yummy >>21984676>I have a feelinf my coworkers might be unnerved by my seasoned meat smellScandalous (j/k)
>>21984186Okay, I'm going to make spaghetti and call it pad thai. It wont be pad thai, like your thing isnt chili, but we can both pretend. Thanks for the tip!
