What is the tastiest mango there is, mangobros?
I've had Tommy Atkins, Ataulfo, Joa, Heidi and wild-type mangoes. Joa was my absolute favorite and quite possibly the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously not even a woman having 15 orgasms in a row can experience this level of sensory pleasure.

Mangos are too sour. Cantaloupe is superior.

cantaloupe is not fit for human consumption.
you'll get melonaids.

You're melontally ill

I hate how at least 1lb of it is rind. Like it's some kind of tax.
>>
I put mango in my Thai curry one. It was pretty good.
Nowadays I put it in my oatmeal twice a week.
>>
>>21986449
the rind is really not that thick or dense. it's not like watermelon. maybe you're just poor.

Mangos are a far worse value proposition. It's 80% seed. Mango rind only slightly thinner than 'loupe rind, and being a smaller fruit it has much worse surface area:volume ratio, so it doesn't even win back any points there.

yummers. all we have around here are is shitty unripe green mango
>>
>>21986486
Oh thank goodness.
I thought I was retarded cause I just got into mangos recently and thought I was doing something wrong
>>
>>21986486
You don't understand, mangos are the perfect fruit in terms of labor vs enjoyment, you have to work just hard enough to make the reward feel even more special but not so much that it starts to feel prohibitive. I feel the same about lychees.
Besides the best mango varieties have smaller seeds.

It crosses the line when you have to floss afterwards. Few foods are worth flossing for. BBQ pork ribs, yeah. Mangos, nah.

Reject mango. Accept cantaloupe.
>>
I love a mango lassi, idk anything else about mangoes

Frozen cubes bag from Lidl, you can snack straight out of it in summer. You can also put them in milk, they'll freeze it into a milky shell. Or just blend, for icecream. Fresh fruit is overpriced and a pain in the ass, the pit is way too huge.
>>
I learned when you cut the two sides of a mango off the seed, they're called "mango cheeks"

Yeah, I know I know, you guys think greentext is autistic shit but I grew up in the 80s so it’s what I know.
>gym lockdown starting to get to me, in my country we cant go the gym
>now this in itself is not my problem as I am home gym master race
>shortly before everything kicked off I started seeing this girl at my gym
>super cute short shorts you know (this is important for later)
>let’s call her Sarah
>exact same name as my sister
>same appearance as my sister
>same sex noises as my sister
>anyway long story short my parents walked in on me masturbating to a picture that
>she sent to me, one in her parties, no bra and sucking off a lollipop
>parents, and sister, freak out and call me a disgusting animal that should be put down.
>try to tell them but they don’t believe me and because of lockdown am unable to prove it.

Fuck off. Different foods have different yields. "Value proposition"? Because you're retarded?

Why should you expect any specific shape of fruit to just contain nothing but edible content? It is what it is and it costs what it costs. It's WORTH IT.
Everything is worth the cost. You're thinking about it wrong.

Out of your price range I guess with your idiotic way of judgment.

Mango is quite possibly the perfect fruit when it's ripe. I heard a whole story on NPR about amazing mangos that you can't legally import, and how people will just gorge on them at the airport; mangos so ripe they're like bags of nectar you drink.

You've clearly never had a good one. Melon is another animal completely.
>>
I like the dried mangoes from Costco.
>>
champagne mangoes are the only good mangoes. Regular ones are always stringy shit. I just want my mangoes soft and delicious without flossing my teeth every time i take a bite.

every mango I bought had absolutely no taste or juice
it was like eating wood

You really have to pick out a good one which aren't always available at your average supermarket anywhere near the 45th parallel. In some places, you're better off buying a frozen product than some hardass mango that was harvested too early and will never achieve peak ripeness. Although, some people prefer them green as I've come to find out, particularly islanders will pick out the hardest, most bland and unsweet mango they can find. For what purpose, I do not know.

I really like Rapoza mangoes. I put em in the fridge until they're cold and then take the skin off with a potato peeler before eating them over the sink like an animal. Probably a top 10 human experience.
>>
>>21986601
Sounds like you should've locked down the door to your room! Ha ha! Anyways, why did your country lockdown all gyms?

Dragon fruit is easily peelable and the entirety of the fruit minus the peel is edible. I wholeheartedly believe that dragonfruit is the perfect form factor for fruit and it got a flavor nerf to make other fruits viable in the fruit meta

Because you keep buying unripe mangoes that are as tough as rocks. A good ripe mango will have minimal resistance when squeezed.

My local brand store started selling unsweetened dried mango, and that shit is like fucking crack.
