It's date season! Do you like dates? What's anons favorite variety?How do you avoid buying Israeli dates?This year is the first time that I purchased a few different varieties since they were on sale in the local supermarket. Medjool with their pits in have been my favorite so far. Deglet Noor is pretty tasty as well, though I've only eaten a pitted type that's filled with a piece of walnut. They were kinda dry and I enjoyed the juicy Medjool a lot more.
