Perfectly steamed eggs
>>21989691it's raw!
>>21989691i do that in my instant pot. pretty much the only thing I use it for. they come out just like that and its pretty easy to manipulate how done you want them
>>21989691the heat of the steam cooks the egg
>>21989691
>>21989691you're right OP. those are exactly perfect. almost too perfect. you used a timer didnt you?
>>21989691and you call them steamed eggs even though they're obviously boiled?
>>21989697How? I would like to try it.
>>21989733No timer, but I do time them.>>21989788They're steamed though.
Precisely sauced. It took him 40 years to perfect this art
>>21989883search the 5/5/5 method for instant pot eggs. Basically 5 minutes to pressurize, 5 minutes to pressure cook, 5 minutes to cook while depressurizing, then release valve and put in ice water for around 10min. The times are variable though. For eggs like op in my conditions it takes 7 minutes to come to pressure, then I pressure cook for 3 minutes, then cook an extra 2 min while depressurizing. The only other things are you need an egg holder and put in the minimum amount of water required to pressure cook. For my size pot the manual says minimum is 1.5 cups so thats what I use. But once you figure out your times its very consistent. With 1.5 cups of water and a full egg holder my pot pressurizes in 7 minutes precisely.
>>21989691boil 12 eggs at a time for 7 minutes and 30 secondsremove them from the boiling water, do not rinse, do not do anything to them, leave them together as they cool from boilingthey'll be perfectly cooked, no chalky interior at all, and you don't have to fuck with stupid shit like ice water or water baths
>>21990230forgot to add, you bring the water to a thorough roiling boil before adding the eggs and starting the timer
