>>21990485that bacon is way too close to the flameI wanted to do burgers this weekend, but the 4-buns pack of buns was the same price as the same kind of bun in a 8-buns pack, and that kinda pissed me off, so I got a big pork chop for 7$ instead of buying everthing for burgers for $20 (cause i had no cheese either.) Also got ribs, and I have wings I need to thaw. It's fucking infuriating that I can't only buy just what I need at a reasonable price. I'm a single guy. If it's not sold only in "family size", it's sized for a couple. And I don't have lots of space to just hoard food and freeze it.
You like it crispy huh? Good chance that's going to taste like soot.

>>21990500>that bacon is way too close to the flameThe flames shooting up are from greese drips, not much I could have done about that

I bought a plastic bin to put my coals in. No more soot on my clothes from handling bags, and I can pick whatever piece of charcoal I want.
>>21992281>and I can pick whatever piece of charcoal I wantThat's one of those things that sounds really practical, but turns out it's useless in every day
Grilled some cod yesterday and topped it with an improvised mediterranean sauceLiving in the desert in California for a few years and can't have charcoal/wood smoker at the condo I'm renting because of wildfires so I've got a natural gas grill, but soon I'll be back to smoking ribs and brisketFavorite bbq drink is a cold nordeast
>>21992343good thing I don't cook on coals "every day". I just did some chicken breasts and didnt need the big chunks at the top of the bag. I would've had to play around the bag and get soot all over. Now I see everything and it's not a fight against the bag to get pieces of the size I want, and I don't get soot everywhere. Also, it's waterproof, unlike the paper bag, so I can store it inside in the humid basement, or right outside. For 15$, it's worth it in my opinion.
