What are we sipping on tonight lads?
>>21991023only silver rum.spiced rum is the wrong choice.
>>21991026i like silver too but it depends what i'm drinking it with
>>21991033>drinking it withi can't with these fucking children...
I havent bought rum for nearly 6 years. I've never had an agricole or high ester rum. too much added sugar in the cheap shit and not enough regulations to justify higher end bottles.
>>21991023SPLICE THE MAINBRACE>>21991171Have you tried Jamaican overproof rum?
>>21991402only Jamaican I've had was Appeleton Signature Blend. waste of $20, tasted like apple juice in a rusty tin can.
>>21991023Got gifted a bottle of Bumbu. Never had it before but there seems to be a lot of fighting about it online because it's only 35% and therefore not legally rum. Might try to make some tiki drinks with it.
>>21991426Try it by itself before you waste other ingredients attempting to salvage it. That shit is sickeningly sweet, and I say that as someone who does a lot of at home tiki and has something of a sweet tooth himself. There are so many better rums you can get for the price of or less than a bottle of Bumbu.
>>21991421Appleton Signature Blend is a mixer, too young and a low ester count. The Appleton bottles with an age statement are better, and I would recommend you their Wray and Nephew overproof rum for a high ester rum.
>>21991461Yeah I probably wouldn't waste anything too fancy with it. Maybe just some seltzer and canned pineapple juice.
>>21991050Brother... i mix it with lime la croix and a little bit of coke or coconut water>>21991402tried some before wasnt a fan of it very funky
>>21991171>to justify higher end bottlesJamaican rum has basically the same regulations as scotch. Some distillers from Barbados made some similar efforts for their stuff.
>>21991023I quite enjoy Neisson rhum. Great bang for your buck in general and very tasty.
>>21991023Barcelo Imperial are my go tos
