Is Cisco going to eventually collapse the entire restaurant industry and itself? There has to be a point where normies won't spend $25 on jalapeno poppers right?
>>21991187>There has to be a point where normies won't spend $25 on jalapeno poppers right?
>>21991187Sysco's widespread existence is probably one of the more stabilizing factors for restaurants by simplifying supply chains.
>>21991187I should be allowed to directly order from Sysco and pay a ghost kitchen $4 to warm it up for me.
We already have a 2 tier economy where the lower earners of the country pretty much have no effect on the anything and are just along for the ride until we develop robots to replace their labor in which case they may actually be exterminated or simply priced out of food until they starve
>>21991210this but really how can i buy bulk sloppa from Ciscoits not hard to throw something in a deep frier
>>21991187Restaurant distributor is closing here next month after 75 years. Only thing that was even a deal was pizza sauce by the gallon. Wings are double the size of grocery store ones and actually exist though.
>>21991220>until we develop robots to replace their laborBut up until that exact moment our aristocrats will attempt to import every latinx in the hemisphere?
>>21991210There used to be a pretzel wholesaler by me that would let us come in and boy like a box of pretzels if we wanted that was cash
>>21991273as long as people are willing to work for less money than it takes to survive, business owners will continue to employ them for what they're willing to be paid. we saw during covid many businesses had to drastically raise wages to bring employees back to the workforce because of low desire to be paid dogshit after everyone got gigawelfare for multiple years.those days are gone and it's a race to the bottom again. there are too many people and not enough jobs and it's only going to get worse.
>>21991210Use GFS then.
>>21991187>cisco
>>21991220that's not how it works.not even close.
>>21991198yeah they stabilize everything into dogshit.the elite don't want the plebs eating out, and the plebs don't want to spend half their paycheck to eat slop.anyone who still eats out is an idiot. and anyone who doesn't want pogroms for the rich is also an idiot.
>>21991187I assume that OP is referring to Sysco, as Cisco is an American multinational technology conglomerate corporation. I'm not a huge fan of Sysco or other food distributors like US Foods, Performance Food Group, UNFI, etc. but the idea of shopping for ingredients conventionally when you're operating a competitive high volume restaurant is ridiculous.
>>21991231>but really how can i buy bulk sloppa from CiscoSearch your local area for a restaurant supply store. US Foods (Sysco's main competitor) operates a chain of stores called ChefStore, here locally there is a store called Restaurant Depot. These stores offer many of the products that distributors offer, although it is necessarily limited (as is product availability from any distributor based on region).
>>21991434>the elite don't want the plebs eating outSure they do, bread and circus.>but it costs them most of their money! Also by design.
>>21991392that's how it is working right now. everyone making over 6 figures a year hasn't even noticed inflation, yet a huge portion of the country can barely afford to eat meat or pay their rent
>>21991220It’s so funny to me that the lower classes are treated like that because ultimately, they’re consumers too. We saw with Covid that once they ACTUALLY stop participating in the economy beyond groceries, it affects some major industries and ultimately the stocks. It’s why I’m fine with welfare/UBI, the poors (myself included) will spend money if it’s in their pocket, and that’s what the economy runs on.The rich would have to get tired of accumulating wealth and be satisfied at some point, but i don’t think they will.
>>21991285> not enough jobsNot enough jobs willing to pay more than what the government will subsidize. Walmart and fast food places are always short staffed.
>>21991187I like the jalapeno poppers with cheddar. Cream cheese is shit.
>>21991457I'm in my 40s so I've actually been to a circus. They disappeared 30+ years ago. Now the bread is disappearing, and you can believe all the lies about it you want thinking it doesn't affect you but the majority starving is absolutely an immediate threat to your survival. The real numbers are available on government statistics sites.
>>21991470Wong. I make over 6 figures (low, but still) and I absolutely notice the rampant price inflation of the last 5 years. I sympathize with people earning less, idk how they get by.
>>21991448It’s more of an issue that all this shitty chains and bottle of the barrel mom and pops are buying premade food and heating it up not that they care getting tomatoes sight unseen.
>>21991531Sad you lived long enough to develop dementia because you're just rambling retarded non-points. Yeah the rich DO want people spending their free money on shallow entertainment, and yes it is by design that it is most of their disposable income. If people do truly start starving en masse(they're not in developed countries sorry to break it to you) then whoever is in office will dole out what is needed to keep them placated.
>>21991210>I should be allowed to directly order from Syscothen use Resturant Depot. If you want Asian then use Weee.https://www.sayweee.com/en
>>21991554Agreed, they know when to relieve pressure, at least enough to maintain>>21991531The circus is now in everyone’s pocket, babe.I think it’s obvious we all agree it’s bad when too many people starve, you’re just assuming the rich are so evil they don’t know what’s good for them.
>>21991559Neat, thanks
>>21991187Don't worry, Cisco's banned in the US now. Your potato skins are safe
>>21991187Bankrupt them with their expensive routers?
>>21991470you're so stuck up your own ass with the bullshit you read that you think it's true.
