>I brought a group of six for breakfast. Despite the cafe not being busy, the staff was incredibly unwelcoming regarding seating. We were essentially told we couldn't move tables to sit together comfortably. When we tried to make a minor adjustment to accommodate our group, a staff member insistently told us to move back because they "might get busy" meanwhile, five other tables and the counter remained empty the entire time.
>>21991614these /steel/ chairs contrast brutality and comfort
i call this the 2020s Amazon.com style
I'm sorry for the negativity bros...
>>21991614And why didn’t you leave? Are there few options in your area?
Well I might as well use this opportunity. Can you guys describe your ideal cafe setting/experience/menu? I'm interested in opening a small cafe with a limited food menu and desserts.Drip coffees, espresso, cold brew, etc. plus cheesecakes, tarts, and croissants. Limited breakfast items like croque madames/monsieur and French omelette, maybe ploughman's lunch type lunches. What do you guys think?Setting would be low light, warm lights, lamps, comfy recliners etc
>>21991684personally I am tired of sweet and greasy treats. I'd be happy with toast, eggs, coffee, and fruit or veggies. No recliners, I don't want to bask in other people's pheromones.Just a padded chair of some type is ok. Booths are mega comfy.wooden or steel chairs are shit.I hate winners / home sense / Marshalls / Amazon decorless is more. Don't do colored lights, ever.Boston pizza can teach you a lot

>>21991699Thank you this is helpful. By warm lights I just meant yellow. Not the bright white hospital operating room lights every place has
>>21991614Next time do your fucking research before you show up with a party of six. This is on you.
Maybe you're just bad???
>>21991684I agree with a good portion of this >>21991699But a few more suggestions> Some muffins, and a crusty bread> I strongly suggest fresh veggies but also make a roasted veggie soup > Have at least some boothsPic is a chair i find nice
>>21991885Chair is nice but unpractical. You'd need something with bare wood at the curve cause otherwise it'll get ground through by accumulating crumbs.>>21991699Booths are important IMHO.
>>21992155Chairs like this i find comfy enough but would be much easier to clean. Also agreed, booths are important
>>21992182Lmao forgot pic
>>21991684this vibe
>>21991705Do we need the wide smiling demon picture staring me down while I drink my coffee and listen to the voices?
>>21991614It's very simple. They don't want you in there one minute longer than absolutely necessary.
I like outdoor coffee shops, like in Vietnam
>>21991614And you took it like a little bitch didn't you? But you only tipped 20%.Fast food places don't want people loitering so I don't know what you were thinking.
>>21991632> 100% womenNow that men refuse to pay women for sex will women learn not to throw money away or continue being ideal retard consumers?
American cafés are pretty grim these days. Went to a couple of them when I visited sweden over christmas and they were super comfy
>>21993763too far apart to talk with dates
>>21993738Is Vietnam on the equator? Why is it sideways and how doesn't the coffee spill out?
>>21994483You sit next to each other on the comfy couch
>>21993698Owls are a symbol of wisdom. Demons are dumb as fuck.
>>21994566I look my dates in the eyes while holding their hands and smiling near sunny windows. That happens with two chairs facing each other
>>21994589Sounds gay. Have her sit in your lap
>>21991684>Can you guys describe your ideal cafe setting/experience/menu?The local one in my small town. It's ran big a redhead milf with absolutely massive titties and once you get on familiar terms she'll sometimes tell you redpills about the jews and various politicians.
>>21994838>she'll sometimes tell you redpills about the jews and various politicians. So she's an average Redditor in 2026? Cool bro, does she at least suck on your willy?
>>21994589Well at that cafe you don’t
