He stole a sweatshirt from a Walmart along the way because he got cold. He got arrested on the highway towards the end of his journey because the cops wanted to know what he was doing on a motor scooter on the highway. He was already 200+ miles away from home lol. He remembered none of it and they dropped the charges on him. Lucky son of a bitch. Sometimes people just wake up in weird situations after blacking out.
