What's in poverty grade hamburger patties?
It's like $2.50 a pound, half the price of all beef hamburger patties, but I'm sure it's not even 50% beef, they're gray when raw and already seasoned and are extremely spongy when fully cooked.
First 3 listed ingredients are beef, water and soy protein.

It's the shittiest, cheapest bits of scrap from industrial meat plants that they emulsify in a giant grinder with other fillers until it's a thick paste, then inject it into patty shape and freeze it . It's "beef" in the same way the gristle you cut off your steak is beef. You're basically eating what normal butchers throw in the trash mixed with the cheapest price-to-volume filler.

I remember the first time I thought I was getting a "deal" on cheap, frozen chicken. the amount of water those things leaked out was unreal, I was afraid it would short out my oven
>>

arent hearts good for you and really beefy? why would they be putting high quality hearts in cheap patties
>>

FUCK those things. They're gross. I've had 19 of them in my freezer for like 7 months.

They're salty and so greasy and the texture sucks. I thought I'd maybe chop them up and add them to spaghetti sauce or something but I can't bring myself to. My dog wouldn't even take a bite.

You can call them high quality hearts all you want but that doesn't mean that anyone is gonna buy them. 90% of americans would never knowingly eat animal organs
>>
>>21996961
Americans refuse to eat offal so it's usually really cheap.
>>
>>21996916
Sounds good, less all the other assorted literal sawdust tier filler in them
>>
I'm a cheap fuck in most things, pic related. I'm only ordering for myself but the deal is so good

Three food related things I want to be cheap about
>That "cheese" that doesn't melt
>That "drink" that gives you acid reflux
>Those fuckass burgers

So there exists at least beef, water, and soy protein. If you have any further questions about the product's contents, consult the ingredients label.

I had private selection burgers thinking they’d be good, but yeah it was seasoned so it was totally brown when raw so I couldn’t tell when it was done, they tasted shitty and too salty, and then I couldn’t stop belching dead raccoon burps all day.
Never again with the “prepped” burgers.

I mean that's what actual meat looks like.
The nice red color only stays if it's in a "protective atmosphere" with extra oxygen, which through a chemical reaction artificially keeps it red.
Otherwise at normal levels oxidation quickly makes it turn gray at no quality loss.

Anyone who actually cooks meat knows this.

You think the trolls know anything? They rarely have access to meat apparently.
