I use dried oregano, basil, and rosemary interchangeably. Sometimes all three in the same dish. I never use enough to actually notice a difference, but adding it just feels like I'm doing it right.
I have undiagnosed mental disturbances.

for the last couple years I haven't cared about cooking at all so almost all of my meals are microwaved oatmeal with some kind of protein thrown in haphazardly like eggs, cottage cheese, or Greek yogurt

Not sure if this counts, but I eat a lot of fish and bring the leftovers to work and heat it up in the microwave, which probably pisses everybody else off. To make matters worse, I cook it all on Sunday, so by the time Friday rolls around I'm reheating 5 day old fish in the office lunch room.
Last week was the only week I actually gave a shit about the smell, because even I couldn't stand it. I cooked pollock, but it tasted and smlled off from the very start. I couldn't finish it on the Friday and the lunch room smelled like bad fish the entire week and it didn't go away. That was the only time I felt bad about reheating my fish at work.

I'll throw frozen shrimp in a cold pan with some butter, and just turn it to high heat until it's done.
I don't really know how mad that is, I just know I don't mind overcooked shrimp
