What are you getting if your food was comped?
>>21998432One of everything
>>21998432the fuck is a beet "pastrami" reuben
I would try 90% of this menu
>>21998432I wouldn't eat any of that. I would have tolerated the salmon except they have a disclaimer about it causing illness.
>>21998444they always have to put that for liability reasons
>>21998432The spice cake sounds very nice
>>21998432Super fresh sushi and tacobell.
Sorrel soup with the spreads, mixed olives for the table.
>>21998444Trips of ignorance
>>21998440>take beet>make it taste like pastrami>???>beet reuben
>>21998432Focaccia and salmon>>21998464>>take beet>>make it taste like pastrami>>???>>beets, not reuben
>>21998432a ride to another establishment because that menu is fucking awful.
>>21998464I can only imagine how many servers have been stabbed dead in this restaurant when someone read "beet" as "beef" and then got a $22 beet sandwich
>>21998440they don't want to serve meatits a dairy restaurant and it's either kosher or kosher style (officially approved food vs just not serving pork or mixing meat and dairy)
uhhhhhhhhh I'll get 9 orders of mixed olives and a water
>>21998513It is stupid but I feel like it means they put a good bit of effort into making dairy food nice because it has to be a whole meal category so the cheese and yogurt in Israel is high quality and fresh. I agree this menu is pretty lazy, but kosher-style dairy food can be quite yummy and I've just gotten kind of bored of meat, not really an ethical concern just it's too intense a flavor. And, I love dairy foods!
>>21998432I'd turn 360 degrees and go to McDonald's
>>21998432Everything but the sweets.
>>21998540lame
>>21998432>mandatory 20% gratuity to all orders regardless of party size>instead of just adding it to the menu cost they dishonestly add it on afterwards down in the tiny fine printI'm getting nothing, I don't support restaurants that do this sort of sneaky shit.
>>21999332it's not supporting if you run out before paying the tip
>>21999337I usually tip 20-25% if the service is decent at all, but if you add this sort of shit automatically regardless of the quality of service, and then have the gall to still call it a "gratuity" then go fuck yourself. It's not a fucking gratuity if it's always added, now is it?
jewish food is one of the worst
>>21998432I'm getting a double Baconator cheeseburger. I don't want anything that was made by or even associated with Jews.
>>21998440A VEGAN ABOMINATION
>>21999360dave thomas is a jew
>>21998432Old bay fries, ill bring my own crab dip
>>21999390>not paying two dollars for a tiny cup of mayo and mustard mixed togetherYou're just trying to collapse this industry, aren't you?
>>21998432>olivesBut they're allergic to those.
>>21999383He was adopted and raised by Christians though...
All food is comped if you just don't make a fuss and slide out the door.
>>21999351its just eastern european peasant food, the problem is usually the execution is too cutesy and self aware rather than focusing on technique and items that can't easily be made at home>>21999332it's a jewish cafe I mean wouldn't it be weirder if they didn't?
I’m easily annoyed by dumb restaurant bullshit, but this actually looks fine>defines obscure terms right on the menu>serves fish so you’re not stuck with only vegetarian options>has some basic bitch options if you’re a picky eater>warns you in advance about gratuity minimum
>>22000122its just sort of disappointing its such a strict and non playful execution of a jewish dairy concept and the menu is fucking tinymushroom tacos?this is the best they could do?mostly I posted it for the extreme un self awareness of having a 20% fee not built into the menu and being a deliberately jewish concept and not expecting people to get a message from thatonly one kugel option?it just feels lazy and overwrought
