I'm trying to gain weight so I'm drinking two 30g protein shakes/day. The container says 4 is safe so I'm looking to up that to 3 per day soon. I read you want to make sure to get enough fiber if you're increasing protein. I had 2 ideas for potentially easy fiber
>add some amount of quick oats to my protein shake and let it sit in fridge overnight
>add some amount of psyllium husk to my protein shake
I've used psyllium husk a few times and when I mix it with water it becomes jelly-like. Not sure if you have to consume it immediately or it can just sit in liquid for hours. Tasted like shit. I'm looking for some quick easy fiber that I can ideally take with my protein shake.

>30g protein shakes/day

Powdered Whole Milk + Powdered Low Fat Milk, 50:50 (30% protein/mass)

Bananas + Dealer's Choice Leafy Green

Pasteurized Egg Yolk juice.

Change it up with fermented stuff now and then.

it's just the six star basic whey protein 30g/scoop (which I'm sure is considered dog shit) but I'm not looking to go full autism with this. Just looking for a relatively simple fiber additive

I would never buy that based purely on the corporate memphis box art

Eat a whole orange.

well that's good because it is $13 a box.

Avocados have almost 10g fiber per avo

chia seeds (soaked they break open and become jelly like)
psyllium husk (yes it becomes thick, just mix and drink it immediately, if its too thick add more water)
oats

overnight oats with chia and psyllium is an easy way, godlike phantom shits

From personal experience, drinking oats is pretty disgusting. Just eat them normally, or look into protein bars that are also high fiber.

An anon did a post (I think it’s still up) of a method of baking psyllium husk so it comes out crisp

Why do you need fiber with it?

30 + 30 plus your normal intake = 60 + 70... 130 gr protein, do you weight 120 kg?

>chia seeds
definitely the way to go. i dump a tablespoon in after cooking my oatmeal. cacao powder is also stacked in fiber.
i've been making slopshakes (diy soylent) for like 10 years now because i don't eat enough food.

Do love a strawberry raspberry protein shake. I tried a vanilla flavour one however and so gross, makes me feel sick

If you really want easy fiber plus protein get yourself some beans and lentils, especially navy beans. 100g cooked from dried will get you 8 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber. Hell you cook them well enough you can probably blend them into a chocolate smoothie without noticing them too much.

To keep his poops from being too gummy. If you have to wipe more than once you aren't eating enough fiber.
>>
>>21999075
If I just drink milk I don't have to wipe despite people saying that should give me diarrhea. Other foods that I don't digest as well can make me have to wipe a bunch of times even if they have fiber though. Very high fiber intake might offset that but it could also just be a sign of food intolerance.
