Have you risked Fried Rice Syndrome?>B. cereus is the main causative agent of 'fried rice syndrome,' which occurs when boiled rice is left at room temperature for a few hours and becomes ...
>anon is trying to justify his SHITcaucasian genetics on 4channel of all places
>>21998836>left at room temperature for a few hoursIt's not going to happen that quickly. People who have gotten sick from leftover rice put it on the counter and ate it days later. For some reason people just hear "leftover rice killed someone" even though they'd been eating leftover rice their whole lives because they understand proper food handling and safety and refrigerated it but now they got scared of it for a while.
>>21998839it's weird to be accused of being white for once. for like four years all i've heard is "jeetposting" or "brown hands","post wrist"
>>21998836>and becomes ..Gat dang serious bee got OP
>>21998878jeets are caucasian though. Still not white, sorry.
>>21998836who is leaving their rice at room temp that long? I leave it in the rice cooker on warm for up to a day, or stick it in the fridge
Fried rice syndrome is a meme. Some cultures purposely leave trice out to ferment all day or all night and then eat it. These cultures aren't dying of b cereus on a daily basis.
>>21998967There are also cultures that eat raw beef and pork and eggs, it's just a matter of what risk you are willing to assume. Room temperature rice is not really something anyone wants so it's easy enough to hold at the correct temperature.
>>21998975of the risk of b cereus is literally 1 in a million then I don't give a shit at all. Ive been eating dishes with raw egg for 20 years and I'm pretty sure the chance of salmonella is way higher than the risk of b cereus.
>>21998967It probably doesn't just happen within a day. From what I've read most of the severe cases had people leaving rice out and eating it almost a week later. Leaving most cooked foods unrefrigerated for that amount of time will probably cause food poisoning by that point. There are occasional deaths in cultures doing that though.
>>21998836No. Rice is plentiful and easy enough to make more of than eat leftover rice.
>>21998992Yeah, I had an X cousin Y removed or some shit and since the 60s they're all like, >nooo, you can't eat the old rice, that's what took jimmy from us! nooo! jihihimmaaaay!Turns out he was just lazy and cooked a big ass pot of white rice and left it on the stove and just ate rice every day for about a weekI guess it must not taste bad or something?
>>21998992>From what I've read most of the severe cases had people leaving rice out and eating it almost a week later.how do you even let this happen. why wouldnt you just refrigerate it?
>>21999023Just degenerate college kids living in squalor
>>21999032sad
>>21999003It fries better when you use stale rice though.
>>21998878Fuck wrists and hands.Post waist.
>>21998836No, I'm not American so I don't get sick from food left at room temp for a few hours.
>>21999032>5 days at room temp what a fucking retard, rip
>>21999190Yeah, you don't have to wait at all to get food poisoning in your favela.
>>21999032>5 day old counter spaghettiThat shit had to taste RIPE. Crazy how puking 30 minutes after wasnt enough to save him.
lol flied lice
>>21998980Okay but there's like 3000 rices in a normal serving so that's actually 1 in 300. And your gonna have a second serving so 1 in 150. I think I'm already above drop rate... I'm scared anons.
>>21998836Are you telling me Syndrome fried that rice?
>>21999692Dude rice is already plural -__-
>>21999746Fine, call them ricelets
>>21998878Cause youre a low value white. a white dalit
>>21998836Back in high school my parents made fried rice one night and forgot to put it up. I saw it sitting in the pan in the morning, ate a bit for breakfast, and went to class. I didn't feel anything immediately, but once class started I felt like shit. I ended up asking to go to the nurse, and the teacher let me. Halfway to the door I started throwing up, and just barely made it to the classroom trash can to contain it. Didn't last super long, so it probably wasn't real food poisoning, but I don't eat food that's been left out for too long any more.
>>21998836I think YOU need to b cereus, anon
