This may sound stupid and maybe it is... but I have no idea how to use black pepper. How do you know what it is supposed to go on or if it needs it? I taste it, it burns your tongue and is extremely unpleasant. I see people shaking it on everything at a restaurant, I eat it myself with food and it tastes like nothing. It just adds a unpleasant grit in your mouth that sometimes gets in your teeth. For something that is sitting on like every table I don't think people really know how to use it or it's just there to make it appear to others you are customizing your food some. Salt? OK. Pepper? Do we still need this on the table or is it some outdated carry over from long ago. I just don't get pepper.
drink some bleach, that'll help
>>21999221>it tastes like nothing>it burns your tongue and is extremely unpleasantThat's your issue. If you don't like it, don't use it. Most people like it, so they use it.
>>21999221>I have no idea how to use black pepperi'm going to teach you the easiest way to learn.grab a slice of white bread, put some black pepper on it, eat it.grab a second slice of white bread, put some black pepper on it, put a slice of cheese on it, eat it.grab a third slice of white bread, put black pepper on it, put a slice of lunch meat on it, eat it.observe the differences.now make a white bread, lunch meat, and cheese sandwich, cook it like it's a grilled cheese but sprinkle a little bit of black pepper on the inside of the bread.you now know how to use black pepper.
>>21999221It’s hard to explain but in the right place it adds a lot. I like it with eggs, soups, and meats. Also pre-ground tends to be flavorless, fresh ground is much better
