But when it comes to fried chicken goodness what I'm really looking forward to is heading to LA and visiting my favorite chicken chain, Pioneer Chicken, which I first tried years ago. 10/10 crunchy batter. I heard they used to have a lot of locations in California but are down to just a few now.

The chicken itself is alright, the sides are... not to my taste. What you have to keep in mind is flip food localizes western food by adding sugar. Sugar in spaghetti. Sugar in mac n cheese. Sugar in fucking pineapple juice. If you're amerifat (and emphasis here on fat), you might like that kind of flavor but it's not for meNever heard anyone hating on it though desu, in fact I've heard almost nothing but praise

Having traveled to one for the FF14 collab event they were doing, it's not bad. More flavorful and juicy than KFC and Popeye's, and I'd likely go there more often if there was a location nearby me.
