More like The Gay

No but I tried the "organic lager" which is light enough to substitute, and it's pretty good. I find it funny how flyovers call it "patagucci" and then run around in $85k lifted pickup trucks while thinking that's totally normal, like sorry I want something on my body that's actually high quality and works well guess that makes me gay oh no!

What happened to bend was a travesty. It was a great place to live and then tech bros moved there and destroyed it the process started like 10 years ago and now it’s gone to shit and more than half the people there aren’t from there. The fucking California bitches ruined it

I drank pretty much every day for 30 years. I don't really regret anything, but it became clear it was going to kill me. It eventually wears down your liver, heart, and kidneys in particular, and makes it more difficult to vigorously exercise. There's also the major problem that you get so efficient at metabolizing alcohol that you can (mostly unknowingly) tolerate quantities much, much greater than your average civilian. One time I was with a bunch of office dorks who were embarrassingly plastered and someone had a portable breathalyzer. They were blowing .13s and I was blowing .29s and honestly was mostly just bored. I kind of knew at that point I'd have to eventually get off the sauce and fully healthy again.

The thing that's not obvious is after 30 years, things like beer are literally a part of you, a bunch of atoms in your body are former beer atoms. Your body doesn't just forget. It gets stressed out and worried and tense, all on its own, and when you dump back a few of >>22005082 or >>22004031 your body responds like a golden retriever when you whip out a tennis ball in the back yard. It's relaxing time and stress relief time and really, was it ever even about the booze itself? Or was it the way you didn't worry about shit?

I do still drink here or there now, maybe a real beer or wine once a month when offered, but most of my organs have healed now and my blood numbers are OK, so I'm just going to drink fake beer and try to enjoy life much as I did when I was young. I will save the final hard drinking part of my life for when the final tragedies strike, like the deaths of everyone I know and love or terminal cancer, etc. It's all always still there waiting if I need it. Fake beer is so good now you forget it's not real.

My friend used to work there. Their "repair or replace" policy is the best deal there is. You can literally send your underwear from the 80s to them and they will either repair or give you a replacement.

Im a massive chud but I own a ton of their stuff

There isn't a single thing about that, that doesn't make me think it isn't overpriced, lousy shit.

In around 2005, wife and I did the Green Lakes hike outside of Bend. Really beautiful and saw no one, except for this old guy up at one of the lakes. Got to talking and he was crowing about all the people he knew from California who'd moved up there and they all called it Little California. Told him he was lucky we weren't from there. Though, the average Oregonian probably wouldn't have either. They'd just cry about it on the internet.

Ipa and non-alcoholic, a match made in hell
>>

I don't even consider it to be fake beer, since it's brewed normally, then has the alcohol removed via vacuum distillation. And yeah it scratches the same psychological itch that leaded beer does, and goes just as well with the same foods, while having less calories and stuff
>>22006426
now you have to fight for day use permits to do that hike, shit sucks

>was it ever even about the booze itself? Or was it the way you didn't worry about shit?

Yeah these are my thoughts on when I speak to people who think I'm wrong when I think they're making a mistake smoking cigarettes. They always come back with some cope "I knew someone who lived to 90 and smoked everyday" or some shit and I am like well you know I'm right, why do you fight me when they're the ones with the problem not me.

Lo and behold my mother's boyfriend had a triple bypass surgery after a heart attack last month or something and now he apparently stopped smoking.

What a fucking moron

Picked up picrel, Athletic Fruited Fields radler. It's well done, I think because they just added fruit concentrate to their beer so that it wouldn't get watered down like a real radler, since the NA beer flavor doesn't compete well. It's a little sweet but 80 calories.
Other than that I've been drinking the Brooklyn Special Effects variety pack. Their IPAs aren't as good as the Sierra Nevada Trail Pass IPAs, but the Classic Golden is good.
