today at the hot bar it’s turkey meatloaf!do you prefer gravy or ketchup with your meatloaf?
>>22005274I like to do like a ketchup-brown sugar-herbs galze for my meatloaf. Brush it on at the end and stick it under the broiler.
>>22005274Ketchup. Gravy is for real meat.
>>22005274I have never had a tasty meatloaf
>>22005306It's good comfort food. The end pieces are the best, you get some nice crispiness with the tender middle. It's easy to let meatloaf degenerate into the abomination you see in OP's image, but meatloaf can be very good.
>>22005306It's possible to do meatloaf well. Most places just don't bother.
>>22005308The ends are the best for sure. My Mom would always save the end pieces for me, but as an adult I've ascended and started to use one of these to bake meatloafs in.
>>22005308>>22005311>>22005274
>>22005274fuck off
>>22005323Oh shit, is school out already?
>>22005274>turkeyReally?
>>22005323Stop being a ninny, meatloaf is good.
>>22005357Not when it’s made from turkey.
>>22005377Agreed on that. Turkey as a substitute meat is disappointing at best.
>>22005391Here people eat roast turkey at Christmas when the price gets inflated. The rest of the time it’s used in the very cheapest processed goyslop.
>>22005395Same. Roast turkey is one a year for Thanksgiving, and it is pretty good if cooked well. Other meats are better and easier to cook right, but turkey is tradition so that's how it is. Other than that, I think it's a fine filler meat for a sandwich/wrap. Obviously outclassed by chicken, but turkey can still be part of a good sandwich.
>>22005274Nice one anon!Following for more
>>22005395>when the price gets inflated.it is literally less than $1/lb. try to buy a turkey right now and report back the cost.
>>22005274grim. can't believe people catgually live like this. thank god i can get a freshly made meal for like $3 usd on streets here
I had a meatloaf and it had a delicious slightly sweet red sauce on top.
>>22005274How was the turkey meatloaf, OP?Because I gotta tell you your pic makes it look like about the most grim meatloaf I've ever seen. And I love meatloaf. When it's made right it doesn't need anything - but if it does, ketchup.
>>22005274sheesh
>>22005507I love a good sugar tomate baste.
>>22005306most unfortunate
>>22005274hot take, but i like mustard with my meatloaf. i also put mustard on cheesesteaks.
