Minimalist kitchens are much easier to cook in and keep clean than the wooden cluttered messes from the 90s/00s. They also look nicer. The flat white minimalist kitchens aren't a new thing either. They were popular with architects and smart interior designers in the late 90s and 2000s.

Sterile white exteriors and interiors sell houses faster because they're billed as "a blank template" should the buyer want to paint it their own color.... Why they can't do this without first painting everything white? I don't know. But that's it, that's the reason.>>22005708>>22008352These do look like poor people kitchens, the top one especially looks like any shitty apartment you see for rent.I'm not even saying the woodgrain color is the culprit, it's more the fact that the doors are just flat slabs of pressboard with the world's cheapest handles. If you've ever been in a kitchen like that, you can just see these pictures and feel the stuffy air, stagnant lingering grease, the way the cabinet doors all have broken handles or hinges. You could take something like this, paint it blue or white or green or something, put better handles on it (not the shitty minimalist bars) and it would be good.
