I hope we get free water at least.>>22008099Lentils are fucking insanely affordable, I bought a 1lb bag at Aldi for slightly over a dollar, never cooked them before - those things increase in mass as they cook so much I had to dump half of them into a second pot while cooking. Maybe $5 tops and you'd get 3 full bowls of it a day for 3 people for a week.
if just being fed is the goal and you can buy the same thing more than once, 10 big loaves of bread is the smartest move

I do a nutrient slop bowl>tin of lentils>tin of tuna>spice mix (I make my own of paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, cumin)>in the microwave for 8 minutes stirring halfway>scoop it up with cabbage or lettuce leaves
