Do you have your own recipe journal?
I have a binder like a normal person because I’m not some retarded influencer femtard.
>>22008150I m not doing that till I feel the dementia start
>>22008154I very specifically have choice paralysis with food. It helps me a lot of have a binder of discrete choices.
I use astral projection to tap into the collective unconscious of >9000 grandmas to make whatever recipe I need
>>22008173grammy don't know bout water-based cookin
>>22008141I keep one for especially delicious recipes that I concoct myself. I make 99% of all my food without recipes always good, but sometimes really good and thats when it gets written down.
>>22008141I dictate my recipes by voice into AI and then have it assemble them into recipe book format with nice pictures it steals from somewhere
>>22008141It's worth collating favorite meals across different recipes into your proprietary instructions. picrel is low key psychotically performative.
>>22008141I keep things on excel. Each recipe is more of a list of shit that I can choose to add or not add, and maybe any notes for if I ever want to make it again next time. For baking, measurements come with measurements and notes or suggestions for testing next time. Nothing too hard set, just generalities really
>>22008141I have a One Note document that I export every so often. Almost at 60 recipes now, not counting spice mixes, cocktails, etcOne of the few conveniences of modern software that's actually convenient - I write it on my PC and have it on my phone when I visit family and cook for them or when someone asks for a recipe.
>>22008161That just seems like autism. I could be wrong. Maybe the dementia is kicking in
>>22008381nta but I've had really really really bad memory my entire life and I basically have to write things down and take pictures of shit constantly to remember anything
>>22008150Lol same here. Do you also have an index at the start with numbered pages?
>>22008141I have a binder for the few recipes I use that must be precise. otherwise the "recipes" are in my head.
I have an excel file with adjustable ingredients
