Is this a good hack?
>>

no, it just makes the meat dry.

if retarded had a retard child, it wouldn't even be as retarded as this article.

Do you eat the bread? Then whats the point of removing the fat?
Do you throw away the bread? Why would you waste perfectly good bread?
>>
>>22008977
I don’t understand why people skim the fat. It’s where all the flavor is and not to mention fat soluble vitamins and other healthy compounds. The fat is healthy as long as it is from a grass-fed cow.
>>
>>22009004
It's too much, also you can use it elsewhere.

>>22008993
Wack how one day he just moved to Florida, got a job, learned to swim, has a house now too.
>>
>>22008977
never tried it with ground beef, but whenever i make bacon for breakfast service i stack it on top of the ends of bread loafs to soak up the greese
>>
>>22008977
Grass fed beef has healthy fat... IN MODERATION. There is no need to make your food taste worse unless you're doing it to balance calories better. Also you can just use a paper towel.

If I soaked up all the fat from ground beef onto bread I would just be making a sandwich out of it hah.

I thought he moved back home and reverted back to his old ways. Poor guy. He was quite a character and I really enjoyed his food videos. The no meat Hamburger Helper speaks to me because I too hate meat and especially ground meat. I also walk up stairs on all fours but usually only if no one else is around.
>>
>>22009044
>IN MODERATION
Uh huh. So now can we guess why anyone would want to remove some fat after browning ground beef?
>>
>>22009081
>some
Don't you lie to me little chud. It's all or nothing with these pathetic fat sopping faggots.
>>
>>22008977
that is not a hack. it is a stupid way to do something just use a sifter or colander.
>>
>>22008988
wet does not have to mean water.

>>22009004
>It’s where all the flavor is
it's where all the calories are and there is only a small flavor component to fat.
>>
>>22008977
I remove all the beef fat and then replace it with canola oil because it is way way healthier than unhealthy animal fats.
>>
>>22008977
I prefer to slurp up the extra fat from the edge of the pan like it's milk in a bowl of meat flavored cereal
>>
>>22009035
>one day he just moved to Florida, got a job, learned to swim, has a house now too.
Sweet as. Also explains why the internet stopped talking about him.

You don't need $600/month for paper. It grows on trees.

it doesn't say what to do with the bread
you could eat it

Use a paper towel if you dont want to "waste good bread."
Or use a tea towel and suck it clean, nothing wasted at all.
>>
>>22009283
No need to be cunty about it
>>
>>22008977
When I used to be a lardass I did this when making mincemeat for bolognese, not because I wanted to reduce the fat in the meat but because I was a fat shit who liked eating bread dipped in literal fucking grease.

the "moist" feeling we feel in the mouth is never related to water content since the mouth is always wet by itself. It's the fat and some proteins that do it.
>>
>>22008977
What these people think is fat is really just water from undercooked meat lol

How much of a fat fuck retard do you have to be to eat grease sopped bread?
>>
>>22009035
>>22009125

You're ignoring the question to focus on that dork in the pic??
>>
>>22009097
>wet does not have to mean water

It does in culinary terms. Deep frying is a dry cooking method. Grease does not boil. Oil is not in any way "wet". It can be liquid but it does not evaporate. Find a different word.
>>
>>22009316
literal? As opposed to....

Why would you not eat it? What's the point of removing the fat with bread otherwise? Use a spoon or just press a spatula against the meat and tilt the pan and pour it into the trash. Or as has been mentioned use paper towels.
Bread with beef grease sounds good, but I wouldn't use cheap sliced bread. You could absorb it in a halved loaf of Italian bread and put garlic on it and serve it with the spaghetti sauce you were probably making with the hamburger.
Perfect utilization.
But you count your calories and call my genius 'fat fuck retard' behavior. We'll see whose garlic bread wins the taste test competition.

>We'll see whose garlic bread wins the taste test competition.
nta but i would like to be on the panel of judges for this
>>
>>22010796
I've never actually done that, but people on this board all the time talk about saving rendered beef fat for cooking with. Seems like a total no-brainer that would serve two purposes well.
Personally I just leave all the grease in the pan and cook my onions and garlic and chili flakes in it before adding tomatoes. By the time the sauce is done it's not like there's a lake of fat on top, but if there is just stir before serving. That's where the flavor and the part that keeps you full and satisfied is.
>>
>>22010799
i agree with all of that
i let the fat build up, then use it for toasting bread - not gonna let that yum yum escape my vile maw
unless, of course, there's too much burnt stuff in there from before

Who goes around keeping random bread about the house? Unless I'm making burgers or hot dogs--in which case, I'm not wasting it to sop up fat drippin's--I never have bread. Might as well just have milk just sitting around at that point.
