do you use a dehydrator or the oven? I'm kinda weirded out about dehydrating pork even though i know i shouldnt be, and I've done it with beef several times.

>>
>>22009085
I have been eating these as chops as well. They're cheaper than chicken at the moment.
>>
Great versatile cheap cut only a matter of time before Jews come after us pork chop and chicken thigh enjoyers
>>
>>22009106
nice. i got half a loin to use up
>>
>>22009113
skin on bone in thighs cost more than boneless skinless chicken breasts where I am somehow. It's mass hysteria out there
>>
i love pork so much. it must be terrible for you
>>
>>22009229
i never understood why pork chops were the go-to fat guy food for Homer's in early Simpsons episodes. they're so lean they might as well be health food.
>>
>>22009111
nice, one more than 9/11
Do you use bone in?
Hamsteaks at my local place were $5~6, for two packs in a mesh baggy, with the bone with marrow in it
i went to buy one a while ago, and the single boneless hamsteak is $6, i didn't see the bone-in ones, or a two pack
>>
>>22009085
pork loin is normally $9.99/lbs
>>
>>22009289
it's on sale 12 times a year. learn to shop.
>>
>>22009268
nah I mean I buy these whole boneless pork loins and cut steaks/chops off them. They are usually not available with the ribs still attached, and when they are they cost more per pound than boneless pork loins despite having big heavy bones in 'em because lots of morons buy ribs to grill.
>>
>>22009289
Literally where? I don't think I've ever seen it that expensive, even for the retarded organic shit.
>>
>>22009389
I assumed a confusion of pork loin and pork tenderloin, which I see at beef prices all the time
>>
>>22009085
based, I made sweet and sour pork stir fry.
>>
>>22009085
I do this with bottom round.
>>
>>22009289
loin? never.
>>
>>22009085
i just bought a bunch of loin chops because it was the cheapest meat available. i'm gonna make pork fried rice.
chicken prices are outrageous right now. i don't even look at beef prices.
>>
>>22010424
pork is gonna get bad very soon. inventory is extremely low
>>
>>22010436

Make pork tenderloin medallions with creamy onion & mushroom sauce. Most of the online recipes are fine. Serve over rice.

jerkin muh loin. all of this is just from 1/4 of a loin, probably about a pound. I've got another similar sized container full marinating in different stuff that I'm gonna try to turn into some kind of pork,-based bulgogi thing. pretty good value, all of that probably cost like $4.50.

Yeah, I am about to do it again, you could probably get away with just soy and liquid smoke, but I really like cayenne, onion, garlic
>>
>>22013038
how long does it take to dry at that thickness? i cut my jerky so thin it's basically transparent but i think i should do it thicker because it just turns crispy like a chip instead of chewy like jerky.
>>
>>22013071
liquid smoke ew no
>>
>>22013075
a couple of hours, I will cycles the trays from bottom to the top every hour because the top ones will stay raw for a long time. when they start getting tough I start pulling them. It's not hard any retard can see if the meat is raw or not. just let the bottom get completely done and then cycle the trays
>>
