I'm feeling adventurous, so I'm planning to make dahl and I to know with what else I can pair it with.I have never made dalh and this recipe I will do is based on whatever googled found and what sounds tasty to me.>saute a onions and garlics>add green pepper and cook a bit, but not too much that it looses its texture>add chopped tomatoes, garam masala spices and a veg stock cube and let it cook>add spinach and cook until they are done>serveNow the problem I have is that I don't know what to serve it with. I love flat bread and dipping it in olive oil or humus, so it is one of the candidates. I also read that it can be paired with rice and veg. I'm thinking of roasted vegs like sweet potatoes normal potatoes, eggplants and green beans. What do jeets pair it with?btw I'm slightly drunk
rice, naan, or roti. lentils are usually paired with a grain or bread because it completes the amino acid profile of the meal.
>>22010229I still don't know what is the difference between naan and roti. They look the same to me.
>>22010295naan is leavened roti is unleavened
>>22010219>how do I flavor a bowl of starchthe answer is always salt, garlic, and onions and then shit that doesn't matter
>>22010219I'd suck on those toes
>>22010219How did it turn out?I use a LOT of garlic in my Dal. Sometimes a whole head of garlic.>What do jeets pair it with?Rice or flatbreads.Sabzi (various vegetable dishes)PicklesPapadumRaita or curd
>>22010295To make a naan from scratch, you need a tandoor, you can make a roti with just a stove.
