Do you buy your sheep's heads fresh or prebaked?
>>22010238this is how you get anthrax
I will eat tongue, brain, and intestines. but the thought of eating an eyeball makes me nauseous.
Haven't bought them but they used to be sold around the corner from me but the butcher closed. Now, they're sold at a butcher shop about 2 miles away. Not terribly far. No idea how much it is, though. They also sell camel milk at $14/quart. >>22010242I've only eaten fish eyeball. Never again.
>>22010238They look so disturbing i can't bear eating them
>>22010238Fresh so you can feather then in the shed. only then are they ready for boiling.
>>22010240fresh it is then
Cant say I've eaten the head. Even when I do them for dog tucker I usually throw the head away with the guts. Is it good or just a matter of not wasting it?
I'm sitting here eating stir fried california blend, looking at this thread and thinking like... I probably just like how salty meat is instead of the actual meat itself. Maybe looking at this is making me lean more towards veganism.
>>22011004Maybe you just like stir frying things out of a packet instead of putting in the work
I made sheep heads soup for Easter 3-4 weeks ago. It was very tasty.
>>22010238Always wanted to try this after seeing it in Boardwalk Empire.
>>22011004I've been like 95% vegetarian since covid price increases. I still eat meat occasionally when I want it for a specific meal but it's no longer a staple food for me. I've always enjoyed vegetables and legumes so it's really a nothingburger to just eat them more often. If you already know how to cook then subbing beans, lentils, tofu, eggs, paneer, or whatnot into recipes isn't hard. If you don't go full vegetarian and still use chicken and beef stock then it's even easier.
>>22010242>How can you eat something looking at you so innocently with its big eyes?>Don't worry, I always eat the eyes first.
>>22010242it tastes good, especially after the steam in the head makes it pop
>>22010238They really have raw and cooked next to eachother like that?
>>22011411The ones on the right still have the skin on. They're still raw but the skin is dark from burning off the wool.
