Just got my re-up.Anyone else like something the grocery stores don’t carry?
>>22010629i buy the half gallons of tabasco scorpion sauce from restaurant supply stores.
>>22010629Someone shilled me on this here, it's bretty good for a milder sauce that you can really slather on stuff like wings & fried fish.
>>22010642
>>22010629Yeah my grocery had lolas for like 6 months before they clearanced it. Shit sucked. There is only one brand that actually out performs all others.
>>22010650>tasty>uses natural vegetable thickeners instead of ((xanthan gum))>still mogs Melinda (the thieving American whore sauce), winning on merit instead of jewish tricksyeah i'm thinking based
>>22010634Let's have a pic of your current jug then.
>>22010650You think Lola's sucks but every single varietal offered by this 'Marie Sharp' involves habanero peppers and fire and heat warnings? lol, okay then.Your palate must be completely blown out.
>>22010656>jewish tricks>yeah i'm thinking basedWhat a chuddy faggot response. Go back to /pol/, you incel shitheel. Probably samefagging yourself anyway.
>>22010656daily reminder that xanthan gum is created through natural fermentation and thus is a natural thickener.
>>22011007What are your thoughts on citric acid?
El Yucateco isn't available in my local supermarkets so technically that'd be mine. Also not gonna lie I really like the Nando's sauces. Nice and onyonie and citrusy
>>22011015love it
>>22011007>>22011021https://duckduckgo.com/?q=citric+acid+mold
>>22011025so? lots of stuff is produced with aspergillis and other molds or bacteria. ever heard of penicillin?sake, mirin, and shochu all use aspergillis in their production, for example. in cheese production, the chemical in rennet that we used to get directly from animal stomachs is now mostly produced from fermentation with e coli or aspergillis. the mold is killed after fermentation and the product doesnt contain any of it.you consume more aspergillis niger just walking around your house breathing normal air. you can see it on produce on grocery shelves all the time. you've probably eaten it before and you're fine.
got this from a local guy. it's very thick. had to add my own vinegar twice
>did somebody say hot sauce?
>>22011053think of how impactful this post would be if you took the two seconds to make that a transparent png
>>22011056Easily done.
>>22011075?
rcommend valentina
>>22011019where i live we have el yucateco in my grocery. i like it cuz it tastes just like a generic hot sauce but is actually spicy unlike the normal ones.
This stuff is really good. Not hot at all just tastes good

holy shill...
>>22011795Post about homemade ones
>>22012005>just bump the shill thread with OC bro, that'll show em!fuck off
>>22012009So you don't make your own and have nothing to contribute to this thread apart from meaningless bitching and moaning. Are you woman? This is a very feminine action
>>22012014uh oh, shill melty...
this stuff is really good but pretty expensive and they just recently shrinkflated the bottle which used to be huge at 12.5 ounces and last forever and now its only 8.5 ounces. It's a mild sauce that needs a bit of a heavy hand so 8.5 ounces is not a lot compared to a piquant sauce.
el yucateco caribbean all the way!
>>22011078>>22011056kekranjesh told jeetGPT to make the pic transparent. Then he saved it as .jpg
Call me full of shit but this stuff is fucking good. I miss when costco had a 2 for $6.99 deal it's so expensive now. I've tried to find an alternative but Melinda's just tastes weird and everyone else uses artificial truffle flavor. I'm tempted to try to make my own black truffle hot sauce with real truffle.
>>22012302it is good stuff but I've always found it a little too sweet. I was gifted pickerel once and I found it much better. Brighter, tangy, and not sweet
>>22012320Ingredient list looks promising (no canola oil and artificial crap) unfortunately it's even less available than Truff.
