We're visiting some bird sanctuary with my mom and my GF and my GF's little sister for mother's day this Sunday and we want to have a picnic for lunch. What sort of sandwich and snacks would you recommend for a picnic in the countryside? Nothing that requires much refrigeration, preparation or cooking, I only got a small cooler and we'll be eating by the side of the car somewhere in the country. I want to avoid mega-processed foods but sometimes it can't be avoided.

Gonna buy cheese, ham, salami, italian bread. Tomatoes maybe (need to bring folding knife). Chicken paste and egg paste maybe (chicken/egg shredded with mayo).
Juice, soda, thermos with coffee.
Snacks? Chicken nuggets? Salty crackers? Little roasted sausages? hard boiled eggs?

They're women, so if you really want to impress them, order Doordash from McDonalds while you all watch Netflix Premium on tablets, with the car running, A/C on full blast with the windows open.

>What's wrong with chicken?
You're eating a bird at a bird sanctuary. Might seem awkward to some.
>>
>>22010685
i dont think birds are capable of being embarrassed
>>
>>22010630
I hate when they answer themselves in their own fucking post. Just get a crave case OP and let your gf and her lil sis brap all the way home.

>>
>>22010704
you'd know if you ever went into a picnic to the countryside
>>
>>22010689
wrong, some birds are very intelligent and social
>>
>>22010685
i'm not some cringe guilty quasi-vegan or something. I'll eat bird in front of the birds.
>>
>>22010630

Oh, I have no problem imaging your gay picnic in the gay bird sanctuary and it's quite gay.
>>
>>22010630
Fuck off
>>
>>22010630
You should just slice the tomatoes needles the picnic, it’s easier that way.
Your menu already sounds pretty nice! Do you think you can get some fruit in there? Sliced apple, grapes or berries?
>>
>>22010630
Agree with >>22010630 that fruit would be nice. Maybe some small cakes and chocolates too
>>
>>22012228

>Isn't it nice to finally be outside on such a beautiful day?
>Yes, and I've packed us a delicious chicken picnic
>>
>>22010685
bro, it'll mostly have birds of prey, he's not visiting a chicken farm
the birds would love to join in on the meal if anything
>>
>>22012346
Chickens will eat other birds too. It might still seem awkward to some. I'm tired of you guys trying so hard to justify it.
>>
>>22012355
no, you're the weird one here
you had this weird idea of eating birds in front of birds and now don't want to back down after being called out for your bullshit
anyone who sees this as awkward or uncomfortable lacks common sense so I'm assuming you're on the spectrum, quite far into it in fact

Rotisserie chicken, either hot or cold. Fresh loaf of bread. Thermos of black coffee, with maybe a tin of sweetened condensed milk. Then desert: just a big variety of fruit. Little bit of everything. And a bottle of moscato to take swigs from.
>>
>>22012428
This is so white trash
>>
>>22012429
thank you, someone else who finally agrees that taking chicken to a bird sanctuary visit is not appropriate
