100% californian. I don't trust anything foreign since the opportunity to tamper is much greater with the longer supply chain. you should buy local if you have the opportunity but I don't.

I also notice from OP picture that olive oil is really really really really really cheap in USA. Maybe you should just stick to brands that aren't trying to sell you 2 liters of "olive oil" for $8.50.

I shop at a grocery store known for having really good store brand products and I still pay more than double for it than the prices seen in OP pic. You have to understand anon, most people living in Europe have been to Spain/Italy/Greece at least once in their lifetime and tasted the real deal local stuff. We know how it is supposed to taste. We can tell if it is fake. Maybe those fake ones are sold at cheaper stores like Aldi or something where mostly foreigners and working class people shop.
