Just had a few of these fuckers to cure my hangover, and a glass of milk or two. What’s your hangover food, /ck/?
>>22014135enjoy your 20s while they last
>>22014135Two giant cups of coffee and leftovers That was 2 hours after waking up and just being an unmoving mass in bed.
Time. Everything else is placebo
Bacon eggs and toast is exactly what i doOj instead of milk though
>>22014135
>>22014148You are giving op too much credit. They are probably an old man who still drinks. Some people never grow up.
>>22014135I can't even get out of bed if I drink too much the night before, my entire next day will be ruined. Getting old sucks
>>22014135Cheesy chicken tikka masala fries
>>22014135eggs, tator tots, cottage cheese, and the spiciest, chunkiest salsa i have on hand
>>22014135get caffeine in me as soon as possible, get the metabolisms jolted into functioning. then grab some grub, breakfast foods like eggs and toast are good, greasy burgers, bread. jack off, smoke weed>>22014175this is the cold hard truth though, you just cope with the above>>22014364age? 33 now and if i drink two days in a row the next day i barely feel alive
>>22014175The idea is not to make the alcohol somehow go away faster but to lessen the effects of the hangover.A good meal with carbs for direct energy, good protein (doesn't get better than egg) and a good portion of minerals to replace the ones lost by the diuretic effect of the alcohol. That's why it should be well salted. And don't forget to drink a good amount of water. In fact, that you should do already while drinking booze. Whenever finishing a glass of booze, drink a glass of water to offset it.
>>22014403>Whenever finishing a glass of booze, drink a glass of water to offset it.This impairs the drunk I'm trying to achieve
>>22014410The boozed effect is a poison effect in the brain and doesn't care about some water in your intestines and then your tissues. You don't have a litre more blood just because you drank a litre of water.
>>22014385i'm 36 and if i drink enough 2 days in a row i'm basically guaranteed to have a panic attack on the 3rd day so i can't anymore. fucking sucks asshole.
>>22014135>drive to corner store>buy some gatorade and cheap peanut butter crackers>stand outside and lazily eat itBut if I puked the night before I'd usually go for biscuits and gravy because was starving
in my country is caldo de costilla.beef rib soup.
>>22014494yeah i hallucinate the night after i stop drinking lol
>>22014135just drink a gallon of water before going to sleep
>>22014135Water you traditional faggot OP
>>22014385>this is the cold hard truth though, you just cope with the aboveIt's really not. Just because it doesn't work like a health potion in an rpg doesn't mean eating does nothing. If you ate nothing the night before, and also eat nothing the day after a hard night (idk, a fifth of liquor or 20-30 cheap beers) you'll feel hungover and even still drunk come mid to late pm hours. Eating won't instantly solve problems that morning but not eating anything will make you feel horrible for way longer. The absolute peak cure to a hangover is eat till you feel like you'll burst the night before, right before bed.
>>22015013That sounds like a recipe for throwing up in the morningBest thing before bed is just as much water as you can get down
>>22015014That's how to piss the bed. Alcohol is a diuretic. You feel like shit because you've pissed out every vitamin and mineral your body had. That's why the meal helps. And why water does nothing. There's no chemistry left in your body to hold onto that water despite it desperately wanting to. Eat a meal. Water comes later.
>>22015024I forget probably most of you aren't degenerate alcoholics. If you're getting sick the same night you drank, a meal I understand will be mostly out of the question. In that instance focus on salty snacks. I've found salted pretzels, preferably the small ones, work best. Choke down as much as you can.I understand this is counter intuitive to most people since the "experts" say you're dehydrated. So you think oh well then water. You're trying to treat a symptom however. The cause of the dehydration is that you have no electrolytes left. Yes, you will wake up thirsty. You'll probably chug more water than you thought possible, and then you'll go back to sleep for maybe a half hour, hour, wake up still kinda thirsty but otherwise totally ready for the day.
