I live in a predominantly lower income area, I see these all the time. Are they actually good?

They taste like soy sauce. A savory beverage if you will.

Well do like malt beer?
baically beer without alcohol and the malt still having a kinda sweetness?
>>
i do not like and i am generally not picky
>>
>>22014458
not really. maybe if you grew up with it, but otherwise they have an odd chemical taste. a root beer is a million times better.

I used to drink these all the time when I would go to Nigerian parties, it's pretty good not gonna lie
>>

I like it but it has a pretty strong flavor that throws some people off. If you like dark beer it's kind of like that but sweet, it's not really like any other soda.
>>
i dont know about this brand but i had something similar and it was good

They're pretty cheap, man. Just but 1 and try it out.

It's been a long fucking time, but I remember the Spanish (real Spanish) owner of a small corner store telling me that you were supposed to crack an egg into it. Maybe he was just fucking with a 12 year old kid - I don't know.

Sounds like he was fucking with you or he's a fuckin weirdo.

I regularly get a malt soda, its basically if they made a molasses soda. Its an almost bitter sweetness thats 100% malt and some hints of caramel. Not everyone likes malt, but I sure as hell do. Love malty beers, and its like brewers are afraid of making a sweet (malty) beer.

Also, like anon pointed out they're $1 a bottle, just buy one and try it.

a lot of drinks used to have raw eggs added but it's not that common anymore, so it's possible he was being honest
>>
I live in Miami, it's everywhere. It's an acquired taste.

This one. My family's had it with ice cream like a float. It's sweet enough to lend itself to that kinda thing.
