Here's a tip: if you toss your potato circles in the colander it fluffs up the edges.

Not only is that low tier bogan fish, you got it at a reduced price which means it is almost expired. To all the non retards be sure to not buy fish on sale. Fish is only good when it's fresh.

Mm whilst the roo is not distinctive in flavour, I believe it adds a bold richness to the overall meat taste of the roll.

Looks great, OP. I will be cooking tonight as well. Got a local chicken at the farmer's market on Sat. Cut her back out and gave her a righteous spatchcocking. Salted and now resting in the fridge for a few hours. Will update this evening.

Hope so, been a while since I made a roast chicken. Been trying to come up with some sides. What sounds good? Might do some roasted potatoes with olive oil, maybe some sautéed green beans or broccoli.
>>
>>22016497
I’ll never say no to roast potatoes, maybe with some rosemary

Bought a bag of baby potatoes and halved them. Olive oil, salt, pepper, dried herbs, garlic powder, and some crushed Calabrian chili peppers in oil (delicious, could make a whole thread about them). Waiting on the oven to get hot and then I'll throw these in the air fryer. Glazed carrots coming soon.

You started cooking at 7:30am?
>>
>>22016943
No. What made you think that? I spatchcocked the chicken around 10a or so and put it in the fridge to "dry brine."
>>
>>22016949
Oh I saw Cobram Estate olive oil and assumed you were in Australia.
But no. You just have fine taste.
Carry on!
>>
>>22016952
Ohh. No, I just don't buy Italian olive oil due to all the bullshit with it potentially not being actual olive oil. I usually buy Californian or Tunisian.

Breast first. Some of the skin came off as I was slicing it (knife is duller than shit), hence the unappetizing color. Wa-la.

Did you have to pose the chixen all seductively like? I know you did that on purpose. Also your thumb is looking mighty swole. Cut down on the constant drinking and bad food or your organs are going to fail sooner rather than later. I'm not even trolling, you're headed for major health problems if you continue drinking and eating the same way.

You never had a Pretzel Dog from a mall food court in the 90s or 2000s? That's essentially what a sausage roll is but worse.

something about it being ground meat and not a hot dog is highly intriguing to me.
