Going to las vegas for a convention, I have a $200 per diem for dinner, what buffets and restaurants should I try?

>>22016805Did you know companies are allowed to give you up to half of your "official" salary in per diem? I think the IRS defines it as no more than 1/3 of your total monetary compensation (bonusus but not insurance or retirement) can be per diem. If your company regularly issues per diem you should ask if they would be willing to just start paying you 1/3 of your current salary in per diem. Because it's tax free. Truckers invented the strategy I think but lots of people use it.

the trick is buying stuff that is refundable so you can spend all the money on cocaine and whores
>>22016810Give me two more, I’ll be there for two days.
Aria, Cosmo, and Caesars are the best buffets.
>>22016820If you're at the cosmo visit the ski lodge speakeasy near wicked spoon. Very good cocktails and Detroit style pizza
>>22016818You'd be a fool not to
There’s a place called Kabuto on Spring Mountain road that has pretty decent Omakase for ~175
>>22016805>I’VE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY
>>22016819If you're in vegas doing coke you're not gonna be eating much but Im not shocked that the nerds on ck wouldn't know anything about that.
>>22016818cant, I'm frustrated
>>22017670So you don't need the money for food, which was that anon's point.
>>22016805I live in Las Vegas. Here you go.>Yui Edomae (tasting menus under $200, outstanding, reserve a seat at the counter)>Lotus of Siam (original location just reopened, only go to original location, if you can't just go to Lamaii) get a nice bottle of wine>Bouchon>Cipriani's >Bazaar Meat (might be over $200head for the tasting menu, order a la carte)>Sparrow & Wolf>Coteand there's lots of really good places you can eat for under $200>Lamaii (better than Lotus imho)>Milpa (this is not close to the strip, but it is the best Mexican food in Vegas, if you're from California or the Southwest I honestly wouldn't bother with Mexican food in Vegas) >Trattoria Nakamura Ya (italian-japanese fusion)>Chamon (Tempura house)>Chengdu Taste>Shanghai Taste>SK Seafood (Cantonese)>Bar Boheme (sit at the bar and get oysters and a bottle of wine) and after you can march around the arts district and go bar hopping I would pass on all the Buffet under $200, the only Buffet worth going to is the one in Caesar's and it's over $200

>>22016805Ahhh yes. The city that never sleeps. I remember momofuku's pork belly was good & salt and pepper lobster too. I think it is in the cosmo.
