I spray painted STUPID LIVES HERE in red paint on a doormat outside a homeless guys tent under a bridge when I was 13 and doing graffiti like a moron. I continued on my way down the path and did my stupid graffiti. An hour or two later when I walked back by the tent a little Latinx man was angrily pacing outside of it and he started yelling at me in Latinxish about the words on his doormat and what they meant. I played dumb and said I think it says stupid or something and he began screaming about estupido and pointing at me. He reached into his stupid tent and pulled out a machete and screamed something about ESTUPIDO and charged me with the machete raised above his head. He swung it at me but he was drunk and stumbled and missed and I turned and ran faster than I ever have. I stopped doing graffiti after that.
