Ahhh nothing like a glass of sour beer and a handful of salty licorice to end the day just right
That beer is really good. Can't stand licorice though.

What is sour Beer?
>>22017666Something that can't be legally called beer in my country.
>>22017714Why'd ya say that?
>>22017336Does it taste like sour gummies? I like sour gummies
>>22017336>>22017336I tried this at a Belgian beer festival and loved it. Kinda tasted like a refreshing balsamic vinegar based drink, like posca, my friend took a sip thinking it was a normal dubbel and almost threw up.
>>22017666They are beers that are intentionally infected with a bacteria that causes them to develop a slightly vinegary tart flavour. It's most common in Belgium where there are 2 main varieties; geuze beers that are more apple cider tasting and carbonated like champagne (there is a subtype called kriek that is sweetened and flavoured with cherries) and Flemish red ales that taste more balsamic/red wine vinegary.
>>22017336This beer is veeeeeery goodBut really hard to find
>>22017714Not true
>>22018133Not sure if you're in London but I went to a pub and it was the slags turn to pay, I couldn't be bothered to go in so I just said get me a beer that looks good and she came out with this, the taste shocked me. Wasn't even sure if I liked it or not at first. What I'm getting at with this story is gold one desperately seeks could be something another accidently steps in on the way to work
>>22017387salty licorice has a significantly different flavor to regular licorice. i recommend you try it out if you haven't yet.
