yesterday i made chicken fries in the oven. the instructions on the back of the bag said to cook for 15 mins, turning them over halfway through. i was feeling lazy so i didn't turn them over. they came out tasting great.

is this whole "turn over halfway through" thing just a psyop?

It's so that they reheat evenly, because the oven makes the water in them evaporate and steam them. If you don't turn them then one side will be jucier than the other.
