Does anyone else prefer cold leftover chicken breast? I cook extra and look forward to the leftovers more than the hot chicken.

I sous vide them in 2 packs then throw then in the freezer sealed. They keep really nice this way and car be rotated into the fridge to thaw so I always have chicken on deck. The cook is perfect and the thawed breast is indistinguishable from fresh cooked. Sometimes I warm it up or use it in various recipes but at least half the time I just eat them cold with a little hot sauce and raw veggies. Its a delicious and convenient way to brotine

No. I hate reheated lean meat. I assume you're overcooking it to the point that it's bad enough freshly cooked that it actually rehydrates in the fridge and the little collagen in breast meat can gelatinize.

If you were talking about something like potroast with lots of connective tissue that always improves in the fridge.
