Does anyone actually enjoy the taste of microwavable pizza rolls?Were they ever good?For as long as I can remember, they always tasted like salt and "tomato" with no actual savory flavor notes of cheese or fat despite having what looks like "cheese" coming out, just a mouthful of mouthburning salty tomato goop.

i thought they were a new thing in the early aughts, recently saw they were an 80s thing. my friends mom baked a tray for us and they were pretty good.got them myself later and microwaved them. the texture is different and not better than baked, both are good for different reasons. the chewy microwave skin is nice. i ate a few bag of the Buffalo ones when they were around. the white castle pizza roll is better than the microwave cheeseburger, but not the hamburger
