What are some signs you know someone is a good cook?
They have their own recipes that aren't slop. Using ingredients from scratch.
>>22020112their food tastes good
>>22020112they don't visit /ck/
>>22020112They don't make stupid threads
>>22020112they don’t own an air fryer
>>22020112No joke one of my biggest life regrets was meeting this cute ass baker girl with thicc ass arms and missing out because autism.
>>22020112I think picrel would be 50-50.They're either pretty good or they're so fucking fat they have low standards of what is "good" is as long as they drown it in sugar and fat.I've known some obese family members who claimed one of them made the best cinnamon rolls by the other fat fucks in my family, when it was just drenched in shitty sugar frosting and had no other flavors. Dry sugar frosted bread with no cinnamon.I can't really trust the opinion of a fat person when it comes to food like I can't trust an extremely skinny woman on a diet when it comes to food, they both likely have shit taste and standards.
>>22020112High standards of cleanliness and food quality, tastes their food, refuses to serve something that turned out poorly, tries new recipes and adds the good ones to their repertoire
>>22020151there's a sweet spot in weight where you can tell someone actually cooks. just a little pudgy, not fat, not skinny. fat people have no taste, they just shovel down any garbage with sugar and carbs. people in good shape tend to minmax nutrients and calories, not flavour. somebody in the middle, with just a little belly and pudgy cheeks, they actually like food and probably know how to handle it. or they might be an alcoholic. this isn't foolproof, some cooks get hardcore into physical fitness to offset what they eat. but I think you see that more often with restaurant cooks than home cooks.
>>22020147looks like she dodged a bullet
>>22020112they're not american
>>22020112they grow their own basil, tomatoes, corn
>>22020186>tastes their foodI know an Italian "nonna" type who insists that she's so good she never "needs" to taste her food. The reality is, she's been making the same basic bitch Chef Boyardee shit for 50 years with no variation, so no shit, the only mystery she needs to solve is why her husband spends so much time at the race track instead of eating at home.
>>22020244One step further than this. They're French. I have never met anyone from any other nationality whom I would deam to be a good cook. Not great mind but good. Non French people are all actually quite bad at creating palatable food.
>>22020112#1 sign is probably if their food tastes good
>>22020293People grow their own corn? Like in their backyards and shit? The fuck?
>>22020432wtf is a backyards
>>22020112Mostly stainless steel and/or cast iron cookware in the kitchen. Non-stick should be at most a small pan for eggs and delicate fish (you can do both of those things in a stainless steel pan too, but I wouldn't blame anyone for not being fucked doing it that way). Also the nonstick can't be an expensive meme pan like hexclad or analon. Only cooklets fell for that shit.
>>22020432Uh, yeah.
>>22020444I miss my nonstick specifically for quick eggs. I only have cast iron right now lol
>>22020326>be fat or a gambling addict
>>22020112This Whore wit the ugly face but the good pussy FUCKS
>>22020144That doesn't apply in my situation
>>22020244Ha. Ha ha ha.>>22020418Lol, no. French food is disgusting and they don't even bathe.
>>22020432Yeah, Mexicans
>>22020112uses:buttermsgbacon greasesaltis not vegandoes not need a recipe, and their food is excellent.can cook meat without a meat thermometer.is not skinny.they aren't british, canadian, or german.
>>22020115>>22020117>>22020137>>22020142they have standards they aspire to not just make slop all daythey know how a stove works and don't randomly twiddle the heat knobsthey TASTE their food while cooking rather than just throwing random spices onto their slop
>>22020418Kek whatever you say Pierre von Silverberg
>>22020244I think the Americans appreciate knowing you think about them.. (a lot)
