I'm from Italy. I spent a month traveling around Scotland, Ireland, the Isle of Man and North England a few years ago. The shit quality of the cuisine is overstated. It's not bad at all, so long as you're not eating foreign food. Brits can't do any foreign cuisine justice at all but their everyday stuff is alright.
