where I’m from, ‘rrot’za is very common, almost as popular as pepperoni. but whenever I mention it online, in response I get confusion at best. verbal abuse, death threats at worst. why is this? if you just tried it, you’d see how wonderful it is.

traditionally, they’re skewered and roasted on a sort of campfire

I've done it with grated/shredded carrot as a topping before, and it's quite nice. Doesn't go well with pepperoni because it's so mild, but it's not bad with chicken and white sauce.

The Scarfolk Council are faggots anyways

Thanks, I hate it.

you CAN tell it's flammkuchen from the flat, pale dough (no yeast), and cream base (no tomato sauce)

and people put all sort of things on those flatbreads, carrots included

Oh.

I know it’s obviously not a worldwide trend, but it is regionally. What would I stand to gain by lying about it?

Carrots are a weird thing, I don't know why this feels wrong but it just does. My mom used to put carrots in chili and it was just off

you can put literally any vegetable in chili and it wouldn’t seem out of place. my mother has always put a a couple heads of iceberg lettuce in her chili
>>
if you want a veggie pizza, you do a broccoli and ricotta white pizza

Americans are extremely picky about "the right way" to eat food. They're even worse than Italians.

That said carrot on pizza sounds awful.
>>

happy trips!!!!!!

us Malagasy look at them both as basket case

They do it in Taiwan too, along with frozen peas. Nothing like a good ol' cheese/carrotcubes/frozen peas/tuna flakes/mayonnaise pizza to make you want to barf just from the odor, forget about the taste.

At least Taiwan Costco finally quit that shit and has normal pizza again.
>>
>>22021512
it's common to use some carrot in italian tomato sauce for sweetness, but it's definitely a background ingredient, not front and center.
>>
that makes sense given how often africans use plantains in savory food.
