Savory foods with sugar added to them for """balance""". Chinks do this a lot, shit's gross. Meat dishes don't need sugar to taste balanced. Sweetness doesn't balance anything out, it just makes food taste sweet.My specific examples are pork bao and oyakodon. Both of them are way better without adding any sugar.
